It is doubly hard to monitor a huge forum for duplicate contents and advising the members to refrain from posting such is not a guarantee. In fact, you may be giving them a bad idea so you need not mention it to them. What you need is an alert moderator who will check suspected duplicates by doing a search in the forum.
