To update your phone number, go to settings and specify in the "personal information" section that you want to change your phone number. Then you will be offered several options, and you will choose the one that suits you. You can generally enter a temporary uk number for verification, and that's it. I do this when I register on every dubious site. After all, leaving your number is not safe. It often happens when, after registration, fraudsters call you by number and try in every possible way to breed you for money. Therefore, to avoid this, I never leave my phone number anywhere.
