    I made an order (only my second onhere) ... paid paypal - and was redirected to the page below saying thank you for your order. However it has been refreshing itself endlessly for the last hour, waiting for confirmation. Is this normal or did something go wrong?

    I sent you an email this morning. Paypal reported your payment as invalid via IPN so I manually created your order. I have a ticket with Paypal investigating the cause of their IPN problems.
