I think a duplicate content is a killer for the website in all search engines. They have a way of knowing duplicate contents especially if the duplicate content came from another website. It is a mortal sin and the website may even be removed from the index of the search engine. That means the website will not be included in searches anymore because of that mistake of duplicate content.
