Everyone should have a checklist to keep them on track, digital or physical, it will help you maintain your day and keep you from getting distracted. The power of a checklist is measurable if you do it week to week and then compare your progress from before to now. Usually, your progress now is much further along than it was before the checklist, and that means you'll likely keep going with this little trick to help you become successful
Checklists aren't even that difficult to do, and many people avoid them, probably because they don't like managing their week or making plans ahead of time. I can tell you from personal experience that I hate making plans, but I love checklists, and I get a lot of stuff done throughout the week
Write down what needs to be done tomorrow
Before you go to bed, you should write down everything that needs to be done tomorrow, that way you're on track to succeed and you don't waste any of your time. When you're winding down for the night, you're likely just sitting on the couch watching TV, so use that time to prepare tomorrow and actually get stuff done quicker since you know what needs to be done and in what order to do them.
Prioritize the things that make you money now
Too many people focus on side projects or ventures that aren't making money and forget about the things that are bringing profits. Yes, people actually forget about the money making methods they put in place and their profits slowly dwindling because of it. So, to make sure you don't lose any money, you need to focus on what is working right now and your side projects are secondary. If you run out of time and can't work on your side projects, it's not a big deal, at least you've done the tasks that are actually making you money and you can keep your online business thriving.
Don't write down your goals, just tasks needing to be done
The difference between goals and tasks are that goals are much longer term things to be done and tasks are things that need to be done every day. A task is like "Write 1 article today about exotic soaps" and a goal is "Write 25 articles about exotic soaps this month". One of those is right now and the other is a compilation of small tasks that were finished throughout the month.
Understand your daily and weekly tasks
Daily tasks and weekly tasks are much different, mainly because weekly ones take longer than daily ones, but you should never set any of them aside. Your daily tasks will help build up your weekly ones, and both will help you hit your goals and boost your success over time. Think of it as baby steps and each little step is one foot closer to success, which is what we're all trying to achieve
Do this each week and watch success come to you
If you're diligent and don't sway from your checklists, you will notice you're getting a ton of work done each week, and your work will compile so much that you'll be successful in no time. Think about it, if you were to have 10 tasks a day for 365 days a year, you would complete 3,650 tasks that would likely bring in a ton of money.
Many people are only doing 1 to 4 tasks a day (my own statistics lol) so if you do more than that you'll be successful quicker than they will
In conclusion
A simple checklist can help you stay on task and get a ton of work done each week. You never know how long it will be until you're successful, but that doesn't mean you should sway from your daily tasks. If you work on your checklists every single day, and actually finish them, you'll complete a ton of work each week and see the fruits of your labor come in the form of profits
