Everyone wants to make money online, but they don't always know where to get customers, and that's why I've decided to write this discussion! If you are just starting off, you may be wasting your time on advertising and marketing techniques that other people said were guaranteed winners, but in reality, they are not great methods. Sure, some methods could actually bring in sales and people praise them left and right, but if you were spending 10 hours on one method and getting 10 sales would you keep doing it if I told you that a method with 1 hour invested could get you 10 sales? Probably not because you would do some simple math and know if you spend 10 hours on the second method, you'll generate a lot more money for the same amount of effort invested
In this discussion I'll be going over PPC campaigns, contacting niche related websites and guest posting, advertising on niche websites, and paying influencers within your industry to boost your sales. So, let's begin
Run a PPC campaign on Adwords and Facebook
When you want to bring in a good amount of sales in the shortest time frame, you will never be able to do it better than a great PPC campaign that has been tweaked and optimized for clicks and relevancy. What you'll want to do is proper keyword research and know what keywords will cost more while others will cost less, but you'll mainly want to figure out how you can get the most click-throughs without wasting money and profiting along the way
You can do the same on Facebook, but their targeting is much more elaborate so you'll need to invest a lot more time learning their platform so you can target everything just right. If you can configure both platforms to bring in the most targeted clicks, for the least amount of money, you'll have a winning campaign 9/10
Contact niche related websites to do guest posting
Guest posting isn't anything new, so you likely know what I'm going to cover lol. Well, what you'll be doing is looking for niche related websites so you can pitch them an idea for some content that would help them out in the search rankings. Essentially, you'll be optimizing content for their website and linking back to your own, which will boost your own sales and rankings
You're posting quality content on a 3rd party website, in your own name with a backlink to your website, and people will begin to see you as the authority within the niche and come to you if they want to purchase something.
Talk to the same niche websites and try to get a banner up
I actually do this method a lot, because I can find a lot of websites that haven't thought about selling ad space, so I tend to get the placements for a fraction of what they're worth I remember a while back I wanted to advertise my website on a big backlink pinging site, and asked how much they would charge to do so, but they said they would do it for $2.05 per click and I jumped on it I didn't think twice about their price because I knew that they had a ton of traffic, and that traffic was great for my website, which made me a decent amount of money. Now, that partnership went south when they removed my link and tried to still charge me $150 for the "clicks" I wasn't getting, so I told them to go to hell and I moved on lol.
You can do this too, just search through some long-tailed keywords that are niche related, and save each website in a file so you can go through and contact them later on. Of course, you'll want to check their DA and even their Alexa ranking if they're in the SEO or online marketing niche because you'll want to get an estimate of how much traffic they're getting prior to you advertising on their pages. Usually, you'll have to pay a one time fee, but some websites will ask for a PPC type model, which you can't really track but it might be worth it to trust them and see where everything goes
Pay influencers for advertisements
Influencer marketing has been on the rise over the last couple of years and shows no signs of slowing down. What you'll want to do is find the best influencers for your niche, then ask them if they offer promo spots for your own website to be advertised. Usually, the influencers will accept your offers or they will tell you exactly how much money they need for each post, and this is where you'll have to filter out the greedy from the good influencers.
The greedy will ask for an astronomical amount, which isn't refundable, so you'll need to start slow and work with influencers who aren't trying to just take all of your money and are more interested in building a business relationship that will last for years down the road Micro influencers shouldn't be avoided either, they are some of the best converting ads I've ever purchased
In conclusion
Above are a few ways you can boost your sales in a short amount of time, so if you're not doing any of them, I would suggest starting out with one and tweaking it until you're profitable. If you can get through all of these, and make each of them profitable, you will likely be making more money than you can count and should send some my way lol
