Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
We all know that writing about movies and TV shows can bring in a decent amount of traffic, but are you actually investing your time in the right areas? Sure, you can write about 100 different TV shows, but would your time be better invested in writing about each individual episode and giving your own review? Probably! Netflix is one of the biggest video streaming services you can get right now, besides Hulu, and you can actually use it to make money!
What you'll be doing is writing about one show and focusing on every single episode rather than just writing up a review on a single show, like most people out there. Not many people are writing content about each episode, and that is why you will profit more than the rest when it comes to this type of website and content generation. Think of it this way, people always say to "target the low hanging fruit" when it comes to SEO, and that's basically what you'll be doing with all this content writing for each individual episode
How many times have you been looking for a show to watch online and you stumble across someone writing an article about what they liked and what they didn't? If you're just like me, you probably stumble across these posts pretty often and read them as well lol. I don't like spoilers, but I'll read a decent review if I come across it when searching for the show I wanted to watch. For that reason, I've written up a way you can write up plenty of content and capture people just like me
Choose the right show
There are thousands of shows on Netflix, so you'll need to choose the right shows to write about. Not every show on Netflix will stay there for every, they actually remove shows after a certain amount of time, but you don't really have to worry about that because people will look for shows online regardless if they're on Netflix! You're just using Netflix as your primary way of binge watching and then writing content.
You'll need to pick shows that are already popular among Netflix, and that's not difficult to do because there's actually a "Popular on Netflix" category you can skim through lol. I like to go through my suggested list and pick something that might be a little obscure that not a lot of people would likely be watching. Think about it, if you're writing about an obscure anime, you'll likely rank quicker than if you wrote content about the show Friends. In essence, you'll be targeting the low hanging fruit by writing about the shows that not as many people are watching Of course, later on you can write about whatever you want, but right now we're focusing on getting some traffic in right away and that means you need to write about what the majority of people aren't watching.
Why Netflix Originals are great
No matter what Netflix original is coming out, or has been out for a while, you know it's going to be a popular show. Netflix only produces "Netflix Originals" after they do a ton of market study and figure out what people are watching. The show House of Cards only came about because Netflix figured out that a lot of people are dedicated to political related shows, and they will spend more time watching this type of show. Netflix has a perfect formula, since they ask people to rate the shows on their platform, so the already know what's going to be a good niche to get into and what isn't.
Netflix originals are good to write about because you usually know when they're going to be coming out. You can actually write up a bunch of content before the first episode even goes live, and get the initial wave of traffic coming in. You know it's going to be a popular show, so writing about it before everyone else is, is basically targeting low hanging fruit that could become the best fruit later on
Start from the beginning of the series
If you're going to take this seriously, you need to start from season 1 episode 1 in order to generate a ton of great content. What if there are a massive amount of people out there that just want to read about the show and not actually watch it? They will want to go episode to episode and read everything they can.
Even if I just made that up, you won't want gaps in your content, so watch and then write about each episode You never know what keywords you're rank for with each new episode
Move on to a different show
After you've written about an entire show, you now need to rinse and repeat the process and start over. You will find a great show that not a ton of people are watching, watch an episode, then write about that episode and continue on to the next in the line of episodes. You can do this all day long, and even get through a lot of shows you wanted to watch in the process, and actually make money from it through monetizing your pages with adsense or any other form of ads or affiliate links
In Conclusion
You won't make a massive amount of money doing this, unless you can crack into the top 3 listings for a super popular show, but you can still make some money if you do it right. Think about it, if you watch a show that has 3 seasons and 25 shows in each season, you'll have 75 new pages of content about each individual page that could rank within the search engines for various terms. In fact, since you're targeting less popular shows, you can actually rank for hundreds of keywords and get a massive amount of traffic after you write about just a few shows In the beginning you'll want to stick with one single niche, like action or anime, and branch out later on if you really want to or just stick with that niche. In the end, you will have a ton of content related to peoples shows they really want to watch, and you can make some cash from getting clicks

Anyhow enough about that series, you've just planted a whole stack of ideas in my head now. I am just wondering whether Netflix actually has an affiliate program or not? I could do it with Amazon and make affiliate sales.
There is also all the merchandise that could be included and marketed with affiliate links - people go crazy for that sort of thing, just think Game Of Thrones!
Just a question, what would you advise? Reviewing series or shows on your blog that already exists or creating a new website to review a variety of shows or would you create one website for one series or show? What do you think would be best here? Obviously the more targeted your niche the better your rankings and traffic but I wouldn't want to manage loads of websites. I already have 4! Razzy this is brilliant and I may just implement this with a series I am currently watching, it will work beautifully on my addiction blog. I don't know if you have watched the series Mom? It is about a mom (duh) that is a drug addict and her mother is also a drug addict and then the teenage daughter falls pregnant, just like her mom and her gran, so history is repeating itself. It is really funny, but also sad and real. Anyhow enough about that series, you've just planted a whole stack of ideas in my head now.
