There are great tools out there to create unique and original domain names. This is one aspect of website creation that stumps me the most. What do I call my website? I spend usually a week or two before I pick out the name.
Great tools to help you generate domain names (I've used every one in the past, and still use some today):
Shopify Business Name Generator
This tool allows you to just generate business type domain names. It usually applies what the most popular keywords are for business type domains.

Namemesh
This is by far my most favorite domain name generator. It allows you to pick and choose from many different top level domains (TLDs). It also provides a feature if you want a shorter domain. This is probably the most popular domain name suggestion tool on the internet.

DomainsBot
I love this tool because it's really fast, and they offer suffices, prefixes, and a lot of new top level domains (TLDs). They also list popular synonyms just in case your original domain name idea is already taken you can use a synonym as a replacement word.

If you all know of anymore suggestion tools, please feel free to add them here. These are my top 3 favorite!

I didn't know shopfiy had a business name generator, and after testing it out, it looks pretty awesome. I'm going to be playing around with this for a bit because I've been trying to come up with a domain name for a new site I've been trying to launch and I keep hitting road blocks whenever I think I have a good idea. Of course I want it to be a .com, but I'm starting to lean towards something else because it feels like all of them are taken
I've never heard of domainsbot, but after giving it a quick look through, it seems to be pretty good. I do like the option to show the Sedo domains (the ones you can purchase for a premium price) but some of them are insanely priced lol. I wish this service had an option like NameMesh where it would give you different lists to pick through and not just a bunch of pages to go through to figure out which domain would be best for you.
These three services will definitely help me with my domain name block (similar to writers block) and I should be able to come up with something clever if I use the best parts of all 3 services to my advantage
I'm glad I saw this as soon as you posted it, I was literally just searching through NameMesh and also typing domain names into Godaddy that I thought would be clever, but I haven't been having any sort of success I've been using NameMesh for a while now and love it :D I like using the suggestions in the "FUN" section because they're usually shorter and a little better for branding if you want to make your website an industry leader. Of course you could do this with any domain, but the FUN section gives you shorter domains usually and that's what you want to look for most of the time :D I didn't know shopfiy had a business name generator, and after testing it out, it looks pretty awesome.
