Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
We all know that ads on Facebook can be an amazing thing if you do them right, but you could totally screw this up and waste a lot of money if you're not careful. So, to be careful you will need to add plenty of great content to your website or blog before you do any sort of Facebook advertising. You need to do this because you will want people to read everything you have on your website and then sign up or purchase something. If you don't have plenty of content ready for them to engage with, why would they stick around and love everything about your website?
Facebook does have some competition in terms of fighting for the best position for advertising, but you can still build up your audience on a shoe string budget if you're strategic about it. Of course, you'll need to only invest what you're willing to lose, but that's a common thing when it comes to advertising. If you only have $350 to your name, you're not going to want to advertise at $35 a day for 30 days lol. If you're smart, you'll run it at $3 a day and figure out what you can get your CPC down to, then you'll boost it up slightly and bootstrap everything that comes in, but that's a topic for a different discussion
In this discussion I'll be going over why quality content and Facebook ads are a win win, so lets get to it
Write 10 to 15 long articles that is high quality
What you'll need to do, before you even think of setting up an ad on Facebook, is write up a minimum of 10 great articles that you know people will engage with. I'm not talking about 10 articles that are 500 words long and have dozens of images plastered wherever you could get them in. I'm talking about well formatted articles about your industry that are 2,000+ words long.
You'll want longer articles because they take longer to read, obviously, but that's not the only reason you want them to be longer. Statistics have shown that longer articles have a better chance at topping the search results on all the major search engines compared to anything that was simply thrown together and doesn't break the 500 word mark. Another benefit from having longer content is that people will likely find something in your article that they can relate to, which increases the chances of them signing up for your newsletter or even buying something through your website or an affiliate link.
Set up some monetization on your site
After you have all your content written up and published, you'll need to figure out what you want to do in order to profit from all of this work.
Here are a few of the ways you can monetize your website and content:
