Confused in Web 2.0 link building strategy

I have just spied on my competitor's backlink strategy using ahrefs, i found that majority of their links comes from blogspot.com

At the start, I thought they might have purchased the web 2.0, but on deeper research, i have found that all the web 2.0 sites are having 200+ articles and look really genuine and all are niche relevant.

I have tried searching and found no one to provide me niche relevant posts from existing web 2.0.

My question is if i choose to make new web 2.0 properties, will i get the same benefit compared to those old web 2.0.
What is the minimum number of articles to be published on a genuine web 2.0 (of course handwritten)

Is getting links from those created web 2.0 a safe strategy, if i maintain it in a genuine way.. ?

Web 2.0 links are very weak and you should not focus on this.
Of course is you can build some links from them but I would go with guest blog posts or backlinks from quality forums, that will be more worth than web 2.0

Yes but where to get quality forums backlinks? Guest blog posts are hard to get and requires lots of money ...

On the other hand post links from 2.0 is free. I need a serious strategy to rank a keyword, i want to diversify my link.

What are the types of safe backlinks we can purchase to move a keyword having medium to low competition?

For cheap link building you have to create account manually in all this type of sites and place your links.

Local business listing sites
High Authority free sites
Document sharing sites
Image sharing sites
Audio sharing sites
Edu links
Profile links
Forum links

Drip feed your links and place here daily. if your kw move up then spend some money and try to get more traffic links.

These all are useful for link diversity. But, all these links also make the backlink profile looks spam. Building Web 2.0 as a tier 1 and pointing the Tier 2 and 3 to it makes it looks cleaner

Btw your answer is good, as it helped me to know different types of backlinks.

However, I was looking for a better and safe way to rank medium competition keyword in the quickest way possible.

I think this is not effective and it can waste your time and efforts.
Some can hurt SEO for your sites so take care on them.

Thanks for a quick and simple explanation of this as some of us don't understand the best places to place links. It is important to understand the importance of placing links in the correct places to get the results we need. It is just one of the ways we can get the best link traffic that is available to and for us.

Yes, this is cheap link plans, We have to create each link manually on good related sites so it is not spam.

If you want have budget means get some Editorial links or real traffic guest blogs links it is more helpful for tier 1 links.

That's the actual problem, real traffic guest post links are hard to find, any good replacement of it for Tier 1 Links ??

Another question is, how much time it takes to see ranking improvement for a new domain?

It is not more hard mate, you can find easily on marketplaces.

For Tier 1 you want another service you can go with Niche PBN posts with quality articles.

Keyword competition is medium - **refs "KD" is about 25-30

I was using the expired domain and already pushed Profile links on the homepage. Niche PBN Posts are safe?

I have heard that PBN is not so safe, as if the Referring site gets deindexed, you will get the penalty too. I have seen many sellers providing guest post links on niche sites. However, those sites have no Alexa rank.

I was unable to figure out which one to choose. As this is our genuine site and we don't want to end up getting a penalty

Some sellers are selling links from: Medium, Github, Ted, Bitbucket etc. Whereas others are selling from some unknown websites which have no Alexa Rank.

Niche PBN is safe, we have to analyze the blog and choose good domains mate.

Penalties are not happening for all websites, if you build the more number of backlinks in short period means you are notified by google. Only after your site is penalized. So carefully build the backlinks.

More sites have good Alexa and easily get backlinks also so find out the sites and get link mate.

I often get members to do PBN for me only if they have higher authority but never really thought of link building with 2.0 is this worth it I might try it my self and run little experiments to see if it works.

Web 2.0 technology works fine with Tier 1 to tier 9 link building technology. Some years ago I have been working for an American client which business was is to sale vaporizers. He gave me an idea to do web 2.0 tier 1 to tier 2 link building and I have seen he growth of the sames within 2 month. from 5000$ to 50000$.

Web 2.0 technology will work fine with tier based link building.

I wonder why your competitors seem to have good backlinks when they had posted in Blogspot. Are you hinting that Blogspot is a source of quality backlinks because it is directly connected to Google? I have come across a discussion that is saying about the same thing that Google may be favoring blogs that are in Blogger (that is the main site of Blogspot) and I didn’t believe that kind of talks.
