What Is The Best Experience You Have Ever Had With Blogging?

Well, like yourself, I'd say I'm fairly new to blogging as well. Growing up, I read thousands of blogging articles pertaining to different subjects. However, this was the first time I was on the "writers" perspective of blogging. I started taking interest writing articles for blogs, forums, and other websites around the beginning of this year. Initially, I knew I had fast typing skills. However, I didn't know how good (or bad) I was at conveying my thoughts, along with researched information, into quality articles that people would find appealing.

Regarding your question, I'd have to say my best experience with blogging, would probably be my first paid article, which was my first paid gig. It felt good getting compensated for my online services, along with receiving a decent rating from the buyer. Not only did it prove the concept of me personally making money online, it also validated the skill I could potentially cultivate into a steady income stream. Basically, I've continued to build upon this skill using the motivation from that moment to propel me forward.

It feels awesome to get paid for one's personally generated content! That is for sure, and having a little extra cash never hurts our feelings either, right? Once you break through that glass wall or ceiling and get paid for what you are writing online, I have found that you want to do it even more and start to crave it. The extra money is one thing, but the validation is also awesome when people appreciate the content you are producing, especially if you feel strongly and passionately about your content, right?

I wish you the best of luck with blogging. Unlike you, I've been blogging for quite a while, I actually started my first blog about 10-11 years ago although the first one and the ones after that didn't work out that well. So I ended up giving it up for a bit. But I actually started blogging recently as well, and it feels weird especially after spending such a long time just reading articles instead of actually writing them. And I would say that this is probably my best experience with blogging. I'm a lot more knowledgeable and I have the motivation to not give up either. I'm glad to hear that you've found success with blogging. I've been looking into blogging and would like to start very soon, so reading other people's stories of success and positivity is really helpful in motivating me to get started on my goals.

I've worked as a freelancer and have gotten paid for that work, but being paid to blog would be a complete game changer for me. It is one thing to have to write about something, and another to want to write about it.

I think it is any writer's goal in life to make a living writing about things they're passionate about.

I can pretty much relate to that. First paid gig experience is definitely fun to be around. And it can be seriously a good way to make the most out of the blogging. I know one thing for sure that some of the time blogging is going to be harder. But if you paid attention it can give you enough idea on how and what not to do in that case.

You may be good in typing but that is just the mechanical part of blogging. As you said it yourself, you are not sure if your style of conveying your message is nice to read. But if you have the passion to express your thoughts then I’m sure you will improve in due time. Just continue with your passion and don’t lose your motivation to write otherwise your blog will stagnate and bring you nothing after that.

I find your perspective interesting. I thoroughly enjoy reader engagements too because it's a gauge for the work I produce and the overall quality of my articles. At the same time, I would write even if no one responded, nor engaged within my posts.

Yes, I do continue to write even though I don't receive any respond. I make it a point to write at least 1 article per week. Then my blog will have more articles. Then, share at the social medias. Giving up is not in my dictionary

For me, nothing yet. I keep on learning how to create a good blog content no matter how hard it is because I have not yet reached the point where I could say that I already am successful. But one thing I am grateful for is when I became fascinated about blogging, I somehow motivated myself to learn more and I am able to share and get connected to other people from different parts of the world. Maybe the best experience that will happen to me if I become successful in my blogging journey is to be able to travel in different countries and meet personally the people I have known because of blogging.

I think that your last sentence here is already showing something good happening to you from your blogging--you have a dream and a positive attitude about where your writing will take you. That's really cool that you have faith in yourself and in your writing in that way. This type of idea can keep you writing until you do find more success in what you are looking for in your blogging endeavors.

I have written a lot of content. But when other people referring to your content. That is something I am proud of for sure. You can see that blogging takes time. And getting people to backlinks. That's even better as well. You can see that blogging has it's set of the issues. You can surely understand that as well. You have to learn to make some really good choices for the blogging. I guess for each one of us things could be a bit different. Trying all possible ways to get seen is the best experience I had in the past.

Yes--getting more and more traffic and more and more of an audience is crucial to success and happiness in blogging. If I were just pumping out tons of content for no one but myself, then I would just write on my laptop or in a journal and not worry about readers. However, I DO want an audience for my content, so I AM very happy when people out there read and comment on my work. Using backlinks is also an awesome way to see your content visited and the frequency of audiences to your content grow.

Yes some of the time this experiment with the reddit threads works out. You can see that some threads can get the links and post on their own blog. So that can add up. But overall I think it requires a lot of posting. But I had good experience with that. So this can be something to learn from as well.

The best experience I've had blogging is being able to monetize my blog. I have been blogging for a while now and really do enjoy it. The fact that I can interact with people from different works of life as well as across the globe effortlessly also leaves an indescribable exhilarating experience. I also had to make so many friends that have remained invaluable to my circle till date. I could easily find out about some vital things and issues firsthand from them which makes it more reliable.

Now, this IS a great experience--getting paid to blog. I totally agree. My grandfather always said to never do anything for free that you are truly good at. I tend to forget and to take advantage of the fact that we all have access to each other from all around the world, and when I check my blog stats, I wonder why in the world that anyone in Tunisia is reading my blog, but some people are, and that blows my mind writing this from south of Atlanta, Georgia. However, back to your first point, when I finally started getting paid for some of my blogging and forum writing, I was very excited to come back and continue to write things online in many different formats.

Well one experience I had on a previous blog was finding out that my blog was worth money. I don't know if it still is, but one time it had a fairly high value placed on it by Google. All the information is outdated now though because I haven't posed on it for years, but it is still good that it was priced high. I wonder if it is still possible to sell?

That's a really good question! I'd have to say that the best experience so far was when people started commenting on my blogs. It's quite disheartening when you keep posting, doing your best and you do see that people read it but nobody leaves a comment. But then one day, they just started - out of nowhere and I was extremely happy. It shows that they took the time to not only read what I've written but also leave their own opinion. It felt very rewarding.

I really appreciate your post here. It really is a bit tough when you are putting yourself out there, in blogging or in any other endeavor, and no one seems to care or respond to what the heck you are doing. I know that we all want our egos stroked or to feel appreciated, but sometimes this is hard to come by no matter how good our content is. Part of blogging is also figuring out how to get attention to your site and to get people to pay attention. This takes trial and error, experimentation, study, and good consistent content!

When I started blogging, what seems like a century ago, I always did it for the money. After a few years of chasing the dollar, I stopped caring about the money and just wanted to write quality content for my blog.

That's when the money started showing up without me chasing it, and that's one of my favorite times I've ever had blogging

I wasn't making a ton of money, but the feeling of not trying to make money and actually profiting is something everyone should experience. I was making around $30 a day, which isn't a lot at all, but it was money coming into my account with me not really trying. I was trying for years, and not making much, so it was sort of disappointing when I would invest 10 to 40 hours a week blogging with nothing happening after that. I would then invest a few hours a week, usually just one hour, into writing content and I found out that I would write much longer and higher quality because I was investing more love of the niche into my writing compared to when I was simply optimizing everything

Another great moment I had is when a big advertiser contacted me and wanted to purchase a placement on my blog for an entire year

They saw what I was doing and wanted to invest in an ad spot for an entire year, which showed me they believed I would only get better at what I was doing and increase their profits from month to month making their ROI on their ad spot even better throughout the year

They weren't paying me $3,000's a month for an ad placement, but I was till getting a decent amount that I was super happy with. I saw myself as a semi-pro blogger at this point because businesses were contacting me to place ads and I wasn't searching for them to pay me haha

Currently I'm setting up a new blog that will likely hit it's stride in a year or two, but I need to just stick with it and add quality content to it daily. I write a lot for myself and my clients, so this isn't a huge deal, it just gets overwhelming when I've been writing all day for clients and then I have to get to my own projects. I stick with it and force myself to take 30 minutes to write up a quality article because I know it will pay off in the long run. I know that if I slack off once it could turn into a second time and then a 30th time down the road, which I can't have. My goal for this blog is to be the top information source in the industry so advertisers begin to pay me a premium to place a banner on my pages. I'm not talking about 1,000 to 5,000 unique visitors a day, I want 100,000 a day so I can make my advertisers pay me $30cpm or $30,000 a month for a simple banner placement lol

Your 100% right you need to take the time to make quality posts. Because that's going to get you a lot further then if you are making posts just to make posts. And that's kind of what I have been doing on my gaming blog and I know I need to change it up and start making quality posts that count.

I am moving in 31 days and that's when I am going to change it up. Because right now things are kind of crazy around here. And I need quality time where I can sit down and thing and put out some good articles. Because what I am doing now is just not working for me!

Razzy this is so much true. I had same experience with creating websites to chase the dollar. More i was pumping it to squize the dollar out even with quality content, less it was earning then other websites where i didn't care MUCH about earnings, but creating contents with love to share my knowledge. There is something "in the air" and readers probably feel it when the content is made to convince them to buy something, then you bump into denial. While some other way is working much better and i was surprised about that fact.

I think that it is so cool that when you shifted your perspective from the money that then the money started rolling in. People can tell when all of your content is just "money-driven", and they tend to like your content less because of this--it makes you seem less authentic. You are definitely a success in this online world by what you are saying above, but I am glad that you remind us all here that loving your genre and being passionate about creating good quality content from a real place inside of you can really end up paying off later. That's good advice.

I think my best moments are related to the fact that I have been able to make friends with people from many different countries (some of them becoming my real friends, even though in a virtual way).

I had a local Michigan blog and my blog photos made it onto google and that got my blog onto the local paper which gave my blog a huge boost in visitors for about a month or so. I have been striving to repeat that kind of success again and I have failed miserably. And matter of fact I am failing with my current blog/forum. I need to change it up because what I am doing now isn't working. Having said that it's going to be hard to do anything until after I move.

The best experience I had was getting paid for it, but other than that, I would say that receiving positive feedback on my comments is also a great feeling. Not only that but merely just being able to express myself freely somewhere is already a very therapeutic experience and without it, who knows how much more cluttered my mind would be. If I was not blogging, I think I would be a lot less calm in my daily life.

I had been a co-blogger some years ago and I am proud to say that it was not only fun but also profitable. Since it is my passion to write about pets so I did not have any qualms when I was asked to co-write a blogsite. All the while, I didn’t know that I would be paid so you can imagine my surprise when I received my first compensation. It was just sad that the blog had stopped temporarily due to lack of time for both of us. But maybe early next year, we can make another go for it.

Best experience i ever had with blogging is one of my posts gone VIRAL. I mean really viral with thousands of views within 3-4 days. But i didn't even expect it to go viral. There was something funny and controversial in it, so i was stoned about fact how people really likes controversial posts so much. I liked to be noticed so much and have so much traffic, but my views and my intentions are not controversial

The positive comments actually motivate me to work harder. Sometimes, the visitors also request me to write about things related to my current content. I have done this a few times and was praised too. I like to interact with the visitors to my blog. However, I also receive negative comments every now and then. I take those positively and try to improve my work. I believe that constructive criticism is important.

I totally love this too! It seems like, whenever I am ready to give up on blogging or some of my online endeavors, I will get some positive feedback, just in time, and that tends to keep me going. I had many good experiences while blogging, so not sure which one is best. But here is one that i loved really. Once, about 10 years ago i write some news about one celebrity singer without intention to go viral or anything special. It was just something to add to my blog because we sometime run out of good ideas for blogging

Soon after i started receiving a lot of traffic from Google continuously and i was thinking, why the heck it is so popular when i made it without that intention, beside that, traffic on that post was pumping up months and months after even there was hips of new news about that celebrity all the time. So one day i decided to investigate then look trough Google analytics to see what search terms driving so much traffic, so i could possibly make more of these things in future. Then i find, it was image added to my blog post. It appeared on position number one when you search for that celebrity in images. It was great feeling and experience how good is to be #1st on search page for some keyword, even if it's about image

Then i learned whole new lesson about SEO and it's importance

The best experience I've had with blogging is the new development I found in my life when I joined a community of successful entrepreneurs who are trained to own a brand and become an authority online. I once had a blog with over 300 articles published, but wasn't receiving a visitor on it. I taught blogging was all about writing articles over and over again, but didn't know it was beyond that. Now, things have changed since I joined this community that trains entrepreneurs. It taught me how to build a WordPress website using an All-in-one SEO tool.

I see--and I hear what you are saying here. I actually am focused PRIMARILY on my blogs, so I use social media to drum up traffic to the blogs, and then I try to sell my products from there and to generate a little money from ads, etc. I am not sure that I am that "great" at blogging, but something I am doing is getting me some traffic and a readership, so I just keep trying to improve on my current concepts and content at all times. I just think it's funny that you are using a blog to get traffic elsewhere and I am doing everything i can elsewhere to GET traffic to my blog.

I don't know whether this can be termed the best blogging experience or not, however, I have worked for a Canadian professor. The professor paid me $15 per page to write poetry interpretation. This was an amazing experience as someone from English speaking world hired a writer from non-English speaking work to write for him.

When I started blogging I was just as confused as ever, because I didn't know how to go about it and nobody actually pit me through it, I gave up at one stage because I thought I couldn't carry on and because of my broke state back then I thought blogging and earning money was just not possible.

Fast toward now am enjoying the fact that am a blogger without stress, it is my passion putting all those articles there for all to see read and comment, it truly is a thing of joy, the best experience I have ever had and will still have with blogging is the communication and you getting better with your writings and postings. Interactions and seeing people comment on your post is a happy feeling and the views you get on them that's the best experience to have with blogging.

My best moment ever which became the best experience I've had with blogging is the day I got accepted into Google Adsense program. I just couldn't hold the excitement of being accepted son I broadcasted it to my entire followers. I got a thousand feedbacks that day. For those of you who use or are still struggling to get Adsense, am sure you know what am talking about.

Please tell me your secret here! I have my blogs hooked up to AdSense, and I get a lot of visitors to my blog for content, but no one seems to be hitting the ads at all, so I can't monetize it. That being said, I am glad to have the audience, so I don't mean to whine, but it would be nice, also, to get paid a bit for my hard work!

There's really not a secret on getting people hit on the ads on your blog, or so. It's basically a thing of self interest on the side of the visitor. Maybe the majority of your blog visitors have little or no interest on the types of ads being displayed on your site. In saying so, there's really not much you can do about it....except for one. But promise not tell on me, infact you didn't get this from me.. Lol.

Here is how it goes, register your blog on a paid to click (PTC) platform, purchase a few credits and start a campaign which will send visitors to your site with specifics on actions you need them to perform. It's as easy as that.
