Micro Niches sites and how to profit from them

Micro niche websites are sites that typically target keywords that not many others are.  If you think about it, you might think a niche you're interested in is a micro niche, but it is likely just an easy niche to get ranked in.  Now, both eay niches and micro niches are similar, but they're slightly different when it comes to the topics you're targeting.  A micro niche tends to have it's main keywords getting less than 5,000 searches per month, which isn't much at all when you think about the medium and hard niches getting 100,000+ searches per month for just one keyword!People tend to target micro niches and devote a single website to it because it's easier to rank in and bring in some profits.  The only downside is that you won't get rich from a single micro niche website, you will need multiple micro niche sites in order to build up your profits.  Sure, you could make $40 to $75 a day from a micro niche website, but that's on the higher end.  You'll usually make around $15 or $15 per website if it's ranking for the best keywords that have the most traffic in your micro niche, which isn't enough to retire off of lol.  So you'll need to target a few, probably more than 3, if you want to see any sort of profits that can allow you to put in your two weeks notice at your 9 to 5 day job.  Even if you're making $75 a day from your micro niche websites, you might not want to quit just yet, because it could go away all of a sudden if a micro niche dies out.  These niches don't die out too often, but it is a possibility that will only happen if some really negative press releases or news coverage comes out about your site.In this discussion, I'll be going over how you can get a micro niche site ranked easily and start bringing in the traffic from day 1 Micro Niches sites and how to profit from themContent is KingJust like any other website, you will need to be adding a lot of content to it regularly.  You can get away with 1 post every few days, and this can actually be scheduled if you're using WordPress as your CMS.  Simply write up 10 articles and schedule them to go out every 3 days.  This will fill your content quota for the month and you should start seeing traffic coming in after a month or so, just because of the content you wrote up and scheduled.  You need to do your keyword research and optimize your content for all of your top keywords.  These are your keywords getting between 1,000 and 5,000 searches per month.  The 5,000 searched keywords will be the top searched keywords in your niche, I'm not talking about setting up an SEO related website and only targeting keywords with less than 5,000 searches per month.  If you do this, you're not in a micro niche, you're in a massive niche and just targeting the low searched keywords.  Facebook ads
Ads will always bring in a steady flow of customers, especially facebook ads, because you can get extremely targeted with every ad.  If your main keywords are only getting 5,000 searches per month, you can almost guarantee that your CPC on Facebook will be less than $2.05.  You can set up a super targeted ad and get people to your website where you're selling something or where they can click your affiliate links.  Of course, you will need to get tricky if you're website is solely an affiliate link farm for products related to your niche, because you might not get approved when you set up an ad on Facebook.Adwords (sometimes)
For micron niche websites, you can always use adwords and bring people in from Google.  This is a good and bad thing at the same time because if it's a micro-niche, it's usually easy to rank for within the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages).  This means you can likely get your website ranked fairly quick and you might not need to pay for top rankings.  Of course, you can always keep your adwords ad running and siphon in as much traffic as possible, which will snowball you towards micro niche success, but it will burn into your profits since there won't be as many customers.Adwords is great for a lot of niches, but for many micro niches, it's not always a requirement in order to get quick search engine traffic.  You can easily put up a bunch of quality content, build a few good backlinks, and wait a week or two in order to hit the first page of the search results.  This way you don't waste any money on ads in order to break even, but you will also have to wait a few weeks before any money starts coming in.Keep them coming back
To keep a micro niche website working as well as possible, you need to keep the people coming back to your website.  You can do this with either facebook ads and a Facebook pixel, an email capture system like MailChimp, or both.  Setting up the Facebook pixel isn't difficult, you just need to add it to something like your checkout page so when someone does abandon their cart or not fill it in the first place, you can show them a discount code the next time they're on Facebook or something tantalizing in order to get them coming back.  If you're setting up an email capture system, you will need to have a newsletter pop up asking them if they'd like to sign up.  You can also have them entered into your email system if they purchase from you, just be sure they know they're signing up with you lol.In Conclusion
Micro niche websites aren't the most difficult thing to set up and run for a profit, but they won't make you rich anytime soon.  You will always need to be adding content, but the good thing is you can automate this on the first of the month by writing up 10 articles and scheduling them using WordPress.  Be sure to have your micro niche site design looking better than your competition because you always want to have a leg up on the competition Micro Niches sites and how to profit from themRemember to follow me!https://www.seocheckout.com/user/RazzyThanks!Razzy

Micro niche sites are such sites that do not build too large audience from scratch. The sites focus mainly on one or few more niches, not creating a large community of audience. Blogging with such a site can actually yield some income by monetizing it. One of the best ways to monetize is enabling AdSense units on it or promoting Amazon products to earn affiliate commissions.

I think Adsense is the most popular monetization method because it is simple. All you need is to get an approved account and Adsense will handle everything for you. Whenever you get traffic on your blog, you also earn something even if the readers don’t click on the ads that were displayed by Adsense. There is a thing called impression that can also earn you some coins.

I think that for anyone looking to make some profit then micro niche sites can be great because of the fact that it is so much easier to rank higher on search pages for those niches. Personally, I wouldn't do it because I like to do something/manage something that I have an actual interest in. Because of that, I just don't think I would be able to manage a site for some random niche just because it may be able to make me a bit more money.

I think Facebook is perfect for micro-niche marketing.

First, your list of friends on Facebook is a unique group of people. These are the people who share a number of common interests with you. So you start with a warm audience. Next, to grow your audience on Facebook, you just keep on doing what you already do, which is updating your wall every day. However, if you are into marketing, then starting slanting your posts towards what you are selling.

Let's say you want to sell bags. Start uploading pictures of interesting bags you have found. When you see other people posting interesting things about bags, share them. Eventually, you will build a following for bags. That's when you can start doing your sales pitch.

Some people sell directly to their friends. They use Whatsapp and their bank accounts. Another way is to use an e-commerce framework like Ecwid or Shopify. I have a preference for Ecwid because I can start by using it for free, up to 10 products.

I wouldn't recommend the Facebook route too much. I have one friend who actually posts a lot of stuff on his wall which then appears on my newsfeed about items that he is selling as an affiliate. It has got to a point where it's just annoying really and I am very close to unfriending him (I'm not too close to him anyway). If you do decide to do this, make sure not to post too much on your wall

To be quite honest, I wasn't all that familiar with the concept of micro niches until I read this post, so thank you for bringing to light something new for me. I did a little more digging after reading your post and somehow I still find it a bit difficult to believe that micro niche sites can be decently profitable, simply because of how...well, specific they are.

I looked up examples just to get a better idea of what would be considered a micro niche. Apparently in the niche of shoes, a micro niche would be considered men's running shoes.

This would be an interesting project to consider for me. Even a profit of $15 a day honestly wouldn't be that bad, as that is just about the standard wage in the country I currently live in.

Thanks for the heads up!

I think writing articles and then getting backlinks for each one of them. That sort of tasks in itself are going to consume the most of the time. You can see that some niches may be useful for that. But not all niches are not easier to work on lot of things. It seems like MNS sites are going to take more time. There are some people who make use of the services online and speed up the work. But based on what I have seen it does not look like that easy task. So I am doing everything manually so far.

You can milk traffic and chunks of income by targeting micro niches or smaller keyword markets and targets. The issue comes when you realize that success isn't sustainable. Hence the term 'micro.' So while you're playing in this pond, metaphorically - you still need to be targeting the bigger or medium-sized niches out there.

Yes micro niches also means micro income. And it takes years to add that up. Not that it is a bad thing. But having such low income from such sites is more of time draining. And so sustaining is even more harder. But yeah if there are some big sites and then making use of the MNS keywords can be useful there. That's what I have noticed.

Well... I think working with micro niche is something that doesn't draw much attention because I find it very complicated to achieve satisfactory results. The feeling I have is this: having to swim so much to end up having to die on the beach.

It's definitely not my cup of tea.

It can be used for the shops and the products too. I think some people have good results with it. But some of the people require a lot of efforts to rank, Because there are too many MNS sites now. And there seems to be a lot of efforts being taken for the ranking. So I think if someone knows how to do SEO then yes, it's doable. Not everyone can do so as you said.

I know something can be thought of and used in different ways, but I think the idea of having to work with something very restricted is that it doesn't appeal to me very much. I like having many possibilities.

Hey, thanks for this. I've been looking for ways on how micro niches work and you've given some pretty useful info here. I do think that it would be a little bit hard to maintain multiple niche sites. For instance, if you have 5 micro niches, I would have to dish out 50 articles or more on a month to stay relevant right? I'd have to probably have hire a content writer.

Also, when making a micro niche, is it recommended to have a separate domain for each of the niche sites? Or can I just use one domain and create multiple subdomains from that main domain?

Judas2018
I think the latter is a better idea. Build a strong army of sub-domains that each represent a particular niche. Buying multiple domains can get very expensive overtime. Not to mention trying to make sure you remember to renew them all when the time comes.

limberg
Yes, you do have a point. Renewal of different domains could be a pain in the butt especially if you don't have auto renewal on. If you do have auto renewal on, you'll simply have to worry about the fees to be paid for the domain name. You won't encounter such problems if you just use a sub domain. However, I've heard that subdomains are harder to rank than sites with their separate domains. Is that true?

Well, I can say that I LOVE YOUR HONESTY, in this post! I myself am about to set up a microblog, I don't know how well it's going to do. But I am doing it because I am passionate about the subject. And if it makes money great and if it doesn't then that's ok too. I already have an Adsense account I just need to set up the blog and fill it with content and wait to see what happens.

About two years ago I registered these domains:
healingmind.club
healingsoul.club
healingbody.club
The primary idea behind registering these domains was to develop micro niche websites. However, I have been able to launch only one website http://healingmind.club This website is on mental health issue with focus on anxiety.
The hardest part of developing micro niche websites is developing contents.

I have an experience with blogging that is enrolled in Adsense. Since it was earning good money, I can say that Adsense is pretty good if you have a blog that has a big audience. But even if the audience is not a big number, you can still earn much if the contents are fairly accurate and relevant since the SEO can also help in that aspect of getting traffic. And Adsense will definitely register a bigger number when you have more traffic coming in especially the new traffic.
