Best Keyword Research Tool other than Adwords?

What's the best Keyword research tool to use to check on keywords search volume other than Adwords today?

Are there any free reliable tools or software or SaaS products for checking keywords volumes?

Tools and services that are actually reliable and accurate. Free or otherwise?

What are you guys using for that today? (other than Adwords).

I need something reliable that can accurately tell me the search volume for long tail keywords.

Adwords only gives you general volume of say 1K – 10K and that's not very helpful to say the least!

But let's not get into why Google do this as we all know it's because they want us to spend money on Adwords with them Best Keyword Research Tool other than Adwords?

1K – 10K. What if it's actually 1.4k or something?

So yeah, what's the best Keyword planner alternative you know of? If any. Free or paid.

Cheers!

Mike.

Hi Mike,

kwfinder.com is very good, but i like also https://moz.com/explorer or https://keywordtool.io/

I'm using serpstat.com, app.kwfinder.com, and Ahrefs. But yet my main keyword explorer tool is still keyword planner. I'm lucky because I work in a digital agency and we have a dozen active Adwords campaign running continually.

Sometimes I also use Moz keyword explore but also keywordtool.io (which is simply fantastic)

I guess there is no free alternative to Adwords Keyword Planner and even if you have that active I personally use at least two to five more tools for a proper keyword and complete keyword research.

As far as keyword go I also started looking at LSI keyword but most importantly I started to pay close attention to Instagram tags.
I have a few tools like talkwalker.com for example which give me details on what is currently trending and hot on all popular social networks.

I don't know the keyword tools you have mentioned. The only keyword tool I have ever used is Google Keyword Planner tool. Do you think I should also check other keyword tools? Is this necessary? How does using multiple keyword tools help in keyword research.

I think google keyword planner seems to be one good tool. And it seems to be helping a lot of people for the keyword. And it means keyword tools such as this can be good enough for the researching and making use of them. I have used keywordtool.io as one good tool. And their free plan alone gives so many options. And some options are even more easier to use. So on that point two tools - google keyword tool and keywordtool.io are worth using.

Google Keyword Planner sounds like a good thing to use. I have used a keyword finder tool on google in the past and it was helfpul. It is just one of the things that I might use to make sure that I can get the sort of help I need with my keywords. I can do research easily and effectively.

This seems like something new. I just tested it for some keywords. And it showed some really good results. Only issue is that export is disabled for the free option. Best Keyword Research Tool other than Adwords? so it seems like the paid option is there for the export. but either way one can remember the keywords. And that can surely help with the keyword research as well. That's the thing people can think of when it comes to keywords.

I'm not sure unfortunately because I don't really use any at the moment. But I did a quick Google search for the best keyword research tools and I found this article that was posted recently that has some of the best tools that are available at the moment. You can find it here: https://adespresso.com/blog/best-keyword-research-tools-for-marketing/

I still use Adwords, the free version, it is very convenient and easy to use. otherwise, I also try other site like: wordstream and serps but those sites are not easy to use nor user friendly than adwords.

The best keyword research tool I ever came across is the Jaaxy keyword research tool. It works more accurately than any other keyword research tool in the world. If used for creating campaigns for your online business, it gives you the maximum search results you have never experienced in life before. It analyses details about the overall monthly traffic (AVG), the Quoted Search Results (QSR), and the Keyword Search Indicator (KSI).

Kwfinder and MarketSamurai are good options, but you shouldn't stop using AdWords Keyword Tool either because it gives you the advertiser competition which the other two won't. Or well, they include the data in there if you put it, and you should.

This is because just figuring out your competition is only half the battle, as you'll have people paying their way in as well. Also in case you want to use AdWords (which you probably should when you're starting out, if you can afford it) you REALLY want to know your competition.
