Why you shouldn't worry about getting indexed right away

When you set up a website, you always hope to have a massive flood of high-quality traffic coming in.  After a day or two, you'll go crazy searching your keywords and even your domain name to see where your site is in Google's index, and it's not showing up!  Getting indexed doesn't happen right away, so you don't have to worry too much about it.  If you constantly try to search up your website, day and night, just to see if you're indexed, you could go crazy and think that nothing is working when it comes to getting your pages seen by Google or the other search engines.

Google takes their sweet time when it comes to indexing websites.  They need to evaluate you and your pages before they decide to place you among their index.  You can't just push your way to the top of the rankings after you go live, even though that would be nice, it simply doesn't happen that way lol.  In this discussion, I'll be going over why you shouldn't be worrying about your index rate and what you should focus on while Google and the other search engines do their job Why you shouldn

The search engines will find you, don't worry
You don't need to worry about getting found, if you're doing everything you can in order to build your business the right way, they will find you and index you eventually.  If you're worried that your website isn't getting indexed quick enough, or the search engine spiders aren't coming to your website often enough, there are a few things you can do to bring them crawling.

  1. Get on social media - By going to your social media account and posting to your public profile or even a facebook group, you can get the search engine spiders to find you a bit quicker because they are constantly crawling anything on facebook that is publicly viewable.  So just doing this little thing can get your homepage, or subpages, found in a very short amount of time and you'll notice you show up in the Google search results shortly after.

  2. Post on high traffic blogs (without spamming) - This is another great way to get the search engine spiders to come crawling.  You simply go to a very popular blog and type in your domain name within a comment.  Try to make the post relevant to what someone is asking, so it doesn't look like spam, and gets accepted.  Also, nofollow links won't help you get indexed so be sure you're posting on dofollow blogs in order to get indexed right away.

  3. Post on forums - Posting on forums is similar to posting to blogs, except with a forum you get a fancy little section where you can have a signature banner or link.  This is basically an advertising section where you can post whatever you'd like, and sometimes people will click through to your website.  Again, you'll have to make sure this is a dofollow link in order for it to help you out at all when it comes to getting indexed.

  4. Pinging your backlinks and pages - Pinging has been around for a long time, ever since the computer was invented.  To ping your pages and backlinks you simply go to PingFarm.com and enter in all of your URLs, your websites pages and any page with backlinks on them aimed at your site, then ping them all at once.  Pinging your links is like ringing a dinner bell for all of the search engine spiders, ping and they will come Why you shouldn

Get your content ready before indexing happens
If you don't have a decent amount of content on your website, the spiders will leave and they may not come back right away to index all your new posts.  If you post a bunch of content on your website early on, it will help you immensely when the spiders do eventually get to your website and crawl everything they can.  The more content you have on your website, the more likely you'll get top rankings for some long-tailed keywords and start seeing the traffic coming in Why you shouldn

Set up your interlinking
This is easier said than done, unless you have some experience in HTML, and will definitely help you get all of your pages indexed quicker.  Interlinking is when you build backlinks on your own pages, aimed at other pages of your website, in order to create small doorways for the spiders to jump around on your website and see everything they possibly can in the shortest amount of time possible.  This allows the spiders to jump from subpage to subpage instead of going to your homepage, then your subpage, back to your homepage and to another subpage.  You're reducing the amount of time a spider takes to crawl everything, and this will help you out immensely in terms of indexing and SEO.

You won't be making money right away from the search engines
If you set up a website and think you're going to be making money right away, you're crazy.  When I say you won't make money right away, I'm referring to getting traffic from the search engines and profiting from the free traffic they're sending you.  You can always set up advertising through Adwords or Facebook ads and get traffic in as soon as you go live, even before you get your pages indexed by the search engines lol Why you shouldn

Once you're indexed, you will notice a trickle of traffic coming in from your content ranking for long-tailed keywords.  Over time, you'll be able to jump up in the rankings for tougher keywords, and make more money because of it Why you shouldn

You won't have top rankings overnight
Rankings come and go, but they won't start right away.  If you're setting up your website and thinking that your amazing SEO efforts will yield results right away, well, that won't happen.  You need to build up your authority within your niche, and Google will need to verify everything before they decide to boost you up within their search results.  You need to be patient when trying to boost your rankings, and the very first step is getting your homepage and subpages indexed Why you shouldn

In Conclusion
Getting indexed isn't a difficult thing to do, but a lot of us will get impatient and start to spam backlinks all over the internet so we get noticed.  You need to be patient and build your links slowly, in the beginning, so everything is natural.  After a while, you can increase your backlink building efforts to increase your authority and keep the spiders coming to your pages every hour to index every single line of text you have on your website Why you shouldn

I had read awhile ago, that is you want to be indexed fast, post to Twitter. I don;t know how true that is, but the author was convinced that Google and other search engines use Twitter to find out what is newly published. Of course, Twitter is a link farm that gets away with it because it calls itself a microblogging platform.

Well, this is sort of true. Posting to twitter will definitely get you indexed fairly quick, but it's not because Google searches their platform for new websites. The spiders are simply doing their jobs and going through the website to find all the new information it can, it just so happens that Twitter has an amazing internal linking structure, making it much easier for the spiders to get around and find all those links that people are posting Why you shouldn

Oh yes definitely. Whenever i create a new site the first thing I would do is get about 100 people to retweet my website on twitter just so the big google machine would index my website faster.

Pardon me for this comment but I’d say that there are so many gossips and rumors in the internet regarding search engines. After reading so many of those items now I tend to believe that no one really knows what Google is up to particularly with the algorithm and the indexing. In the first place, why would Google depend on Twitter for new contents of the websites? It’s out of logic.

I think this is simply a matter with getting your ducks all in a row. Once you have done this you can look forward to having the proper traffic but it might take a while to get there. It is just one of the things that will likely happen when you have everything set up correctly.

This was a good explanation, we just have to do what we should do while being patient and allowing the spiders do their.can remember being very impatient with Google when I started out blogging I read all I needed for fast indexing but it didn't just happen that way.

Comments on high traffic blogs can be extremely efficient. The biggest benefit is that someone browsing through that comment section might see your link posted alongside your comment and decide to check out your site. You could gain a few users from this way and it would be great. But you need to make sure that you do not spam blogs because that may give a bad impression of your site.

When you set up your website, the first thing you need to worry about is how to get traffic. You can get direct traffic by sharing your links through emails or messaging apps. You can get social media traffic by sharing your links on social media platforms. You can get search engine traffic by optimizing your website and contents for search engines. Search engines traffic is the best traffic because it has a high conversion rate. If people come to your website through search engines, it means they are voluntarily coming to your website. When they voluntarily land on your website, they might click products and ads.

I think if you or the person who promotes your site has social media presence. Then that can be good enough to get traffic. The indexing part is something google bot needs to find out. And many people go through social media route these days. And that helps them with the traffic and also for the google search results. So you can see that it does not happen the right way. So we each have to think about things differently.

I think adding backlinks from the start definitely helps. It sets the tone for the website. And not worrying about Google means you're relying on other sources for traffic. So this may not be a plan for all the users. But it definitely helps a lot of people. They can get more traffic through search once they are popular through the social media. I think that seems to be the formula that is in action lately.

Though it's worth taking note of those reasons you shouldn't worry about getting indexed almost instantly, there are guaranteed ways to get indexed in less than 15 minutes after setting up your website and uploading your very first content. It's all about optimizing your website to make it search engine friendly. One of these techniques is using the WordPress themes to build your website. This is the best SEO technology in the world for building a search engine friendly website.

Great tips as always. I do think a lot of people think that they have to game the system and brute force their way into success but there is also just the way of organically getting there on your own without much manipulation and I think that is a great point to make. Not that it is bad to take advantages where you could get them, but sometimes, as you've said, it is better to have the foundation existing before you get indexed and I think that is an important lesson that many people should learn.

When I started blogging I was discouraged as I was not getting enough traffic. It took me quite some time to get indexed. At that time, I created a page about my blog on Facebook and I was also using Facebook ads. I also posted about my blogs on two forums and I also asked the members to review my blog.

I agree but i still care about this because it affected to traffic for my website.
More web pages are indexed then it will increase opportunities to get searched on search engines for my site, from there, i can get better traffic.

If you are not on social media yet, create an account and be active right away. Being active means you will be posting regularly and you will also be reacting to the posts of your friends and followers. That means you have to gather people and build your own network. When that is done, you can start promoting your website. With the SEO, it is said that it is not an exact science so no one can predict when the results would take effect. Just keep on doing what you think is right and the rewards will come later.

I'm happy that my sites and blogs did not get indexed. When you're a newbie you make a lot of mistakes. If you're self-taught, learning as you go, etc., when you go back and review some of your work, you feel a flood of relief that nobody was able to find it! Why you shouldn Why you shouldn
