Do you write everything yourself?

Hello, all!

As you all know, hiring somebody to write you specific articles is rather easy nowadays and it isn't even too expensive. You just hire a writer, tell them the topic/title, you can even tell them the keywords to use and that's it. They can produce almost anything you imagine and most of them are rather affordable. However, many website owners still prefer to write their own content and dislike hiring people for it.

I am definitely one of them because I feel like if it's my website, I should be the one truly producing the articles. I am curious how you guys feel about this. Do you write everything yourself? Or do you prefer just hiring somebody and saving time?

Although sometimes I get lost in some deadlines (although I have never lost any of them Do you write everything yourself?) I never thought of this possibility because it was never - in fact - necessary.

I always write everything by myself... Although the subject is not of my interest or that I don't know much about it, I do my research and study so I can write everything my way.

Then you are exactly like me my friend Do you write everything yourself? I have actually never hired a freelance writer to write any content for me. Even when I first began and I needed a lot of articles to get the website going, I didn't bother. I did the work myself.

And yes, I have also previously written about many subjects that I didn't know much about but it is quite easy to find good information about things just by knowing where to look at. I love how much you can learn through writing.

Writing is never simply writing (if you know what I'm talking about, haha), writing is always a constant learning process... By the way, a very dynamic process.

If you know how to take advantage of this activity, you can grow in an unimaginable way. Do you write everything yourself?

you are a one cool writer. I salute to those writers who write their own articles instead of paying another person to do the job. That is plain lazy to me. I prefer to read blogs or articles that are self written by the author himself. You can feel the differences.

You are one prolific writer if you write everything even if the topic is out of bounds of your interest. I admire people who can do that because it is not easy to write when you are not well-versed with the subject matter. If I were you I would probably hire a freelancer to help me with the workload particularly with the writing chores that has a difficult topic and outside the perimeter of my interest.

I understand the reason every blog/website owner should hire freelancers that should help on writing some articles that are being posted on the blog/site. I believe that we are not a specialist in every field of writing, no matter how we claim to know about researching which is the reason I think it is right to hire some freelancers to help write the contents we need on our websites especially when it involves some technical topics.

I am a freelance writer and everything I publish on my websites and blogs are all written by myself. I not only write for myself, but also for my clients. Currently, I have a writing contract where I have to three 500-word articles every week. Having said that I once commissioned a writer to write articles on my website. I hired a writer because I had never written on that niche and I wanted a different writing tone. I once hired a writer to write an ebook that I was commissioned to write. I was getting $15 per page, I hired a writer who was willing to write for $10 per page.

I write everything myself because I don't really have the funds available to hire anyone, besides when you hire someone you don't have the assurance that the person is going to do the writing the way you want it done. I like the control I guess.

But if you had the money to hire them, would you hire them? I mean... Would you change your mind or is it just a financial issue of seeing things?

About having control, in this we are alike... I always like to know everything what is happening.

I write all the articles for my blog myself. My friend once hired a writer and was left disappointed. The articles that he wrote was of poor quality. I know that everyone is not the same but I am risk averse and so I prefer not to rely on others for tasks that I can do. Moreover I know what I want to include in the articles and if this is something that I can do by myself why must I hire others. Writing is a passion for me.

One of many aspects that make me not want to hire freelancers is the "frustration" factor. I always like things to have my fingerprint, that my readers recognize me by the way I write.

To make a freelancer understand this is very complicated.

I write short horror stories. And I do it on my own. I have the voice to text option on the PC. But I am not using that because for writing stories that does not make much sense. So writing on my own mostly for the fictional content. I have never outsourced this part. I do see the point of outsourcing for the non fiction content. And also for the client and the website based content. I don't have the time and the inclination to manage those type of the project. And it can be really bad in that case. That's the point about the delegation I have learned so far.

So far, I totally write everything myself. I do not really have the budget to hire freelancers and ghost writers! Hell, I am trying to get people to hire ME to do those things! I feel like I am already swamped as it is, and to start managing other writers while trying to manage myself might be just a bit too much at this point. I write a lot of poetry and fiction and memoir type stuff on my blogs, so hiring someone to that would go against my own point of expressing myself and trying to get an audience because of my own unique talents.

I am not a site owner but given the chance, I choose to write everything myself. There is a big chance that I may not get the quality of information I want to publish if I let someone write for my site and it's definitely not worth spending money for it. I am the one who has the best knowledge about my site since I created it it in the first place so I am the one who can provide the best information for it. It may be tedious at first but it's only temporary. It will only need a little editing and updates later on as I do changes with my site. I am able to save money and write articles that give the best information about my site at the same time.

I run a blog/forum and I write all of my own content. And I think that developing your own style is what's going to attract people to your website. Having a bunch of mismatched personalities on such a small website can and will drive people away. Because a freelancer is only in it for one thing and that's money. And I write my own content from the heart and people can tell the difference.

I have written most my work my self but I do admit that I have used a good member on here to write me a few good articles for my websites and am not ashamed to admit it either lol. But, in a way that is good right as some may look at things as a different approach then you and when you have a daily blog and say sometimes you don't feel it or you feel emotionally drained for reasons. Then it is good to hire someone so you do not fail to push content out when needed.

I write everything that I post on my blog and I really don't intend to have it subcontracted to another writer as I myself am working on a part time basis with a content site. It is also niche blog so it might not be easy to find a writer who can do justice to themes. I don't discount the possibility of hiring writers though on some other projects where my knowledge of the subject may not be at par, I feel that hiring freelance writers is something a website owner should embrace when a site grows or when he/she decides to branch out or start more websites.

I am into online work primarily to improve my written English. When I was asked to write for a blog, I was both flattered and scared. What if I couldn’t write a long article? My experience was only commenting in forums. The blogger was kind enough to give me pointers and to review my articles. To cut the story short, I was writing well after the first 3 articles I submitted. With the content that I submit, yeah, it’s always mine and I cannot imagine for someone to write for me. As I had posted in one thread, I still write even when I am sick although I have a typist who types what I dictate.

A blogger or writer worth his or her salt will always write their own press releases, content or articles. If you're just in business to open a website, get quality traffic, operate the site and line up advertisers then buying articles would work for you. But if you own the site and want to actually build a repertoire as a serious writer and aficionado of a particular subject or topic, writing your own articles shows how well versed on the subject you are.

Last year, some of my websites were generating huge amounts of cash. I was able to afford a freelance writer to create some content for one of my sites. But this year, I haven't properly managed my sites. I upgraded to vs which I could barely afford. Then I missed a payment schedule which led to my websites being wiped out from the face of the internet because I didn't back them up.

Now, I'm starting again from scratch, trying to regain my lost glory. I'm now currently doing all the writing myself. When my websites begin making much money, probably that's the time when I'll hire a freelance writer once more.

It's totally okay to hire a freelance writer or someone looking to build a name or reputation in a certain niche to write for your website or blog. Just so long as their name or 'by line' is included at the end of the article. So readers can know they penned the article and not you. That's where some sites make their mistake. There really are writers out there who take someone else's work and passes it off as their own on their blogs. With no credit given.

I think this depends on what your workload is like. For the most part, I write everything myself. I prefer this because I know what I want to say and how I want to say it. I find it very hard to delegate this to anyone. However, as my online freelancing activities are growing, I find that my schedule is tight and I don't have a lot of time. I then hire writers to do mostly the technical stuff like SEO and not so much the stuff that reflects my views and brand.

I recognize that delegating is a delicate balance and my success especially as I continue to grow will depend on how successfully I can do this.

Initially, when I created my blog, I was the only one writing my articles but as time grew, I got busy with some other stuff and I also needed my blog to be active. So I decided to hire a writer since it was quite affordable for me.

I see no harm in hiring a writer if they can get the job done in a classy and professional way. Having a change in the way things are being done is good for advancement sometimes.

I always write everything myself. I have been hired before but I have never considered hiring anyone. From the experience of being hired, some clients still reject the article even after I followed instructions. I have always felt there is no need for my time to be wasted when the client could just edit my work to suit their liking. It can only mean that they themselves cannot write.

For this reason, I would rather write for myself especially if I am sure of what I want.

Yes, I write everything myself as far as building a website with content writing is concerned. I have just created a WordPress website and wouldn't want to waste time at all as far as getting traffic and making sales is concerned. Getting traffic is guaranteed if content can be seriously built on the website. Content is king as far as attracting visitors is concerned. People believe much more in the content you deliver which helps them get some information that could create positive impacts.
