A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

Recently I've been switching gears on how to make money through my websites.  I've started leaning more towards building my affiliates than bringing in the sales myself.  I decided to attack my profits at this angle because I can literally get hundreds or thousands (maybe) of affiliates pushing my links in order for them to make a commission on every sale that comes through my website.  In the beginning I can see this as going pretty slow, but in time I would hope that I can have at least 100 affiliates working with me to make a pretty penny each month.

Why would so many affiliates sign up with me?

Well that's simple, on my main website I offer a 20% recurring lifetime commission.  It's pretty similar to how the Seocheckout affiliate system works because that's where I go the idea from lol A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers  Basically, when one of my affiliates send me a potential client and they sign up, the affiliate gets credit for the user.  Now the user might not purchase anything right away, they could take a few months before they come back, but it doesn't matter how long it takes the user to purchase because the affiliate already got them to sign up and will get credit for every order the user successfully goes through with A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

Currently I have a good amount of affiliates, but I stumbled upon a nice little way to increase the amount of affiliates I can get in a short amount of time A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

What I'll be doing is using Facebook in 3 simple ways, and those are:

  1. Facebook Ads (duh!):  I will post a few different ads and target anyone who likes affiliate marketing or has something referring to "affiliate" in their profile.  This way I will be sure they know what my ads are going to talk about and it will intrigue them to come sign up with me.

  2. Facebook Groups:  This is a less professional way to pull in affiliates because you are going to have to spam a little bit and hope you don't get banned from the group by an admin lol.  I joined around 15 affiliate marketing related groups to see which ones get spammed and which ones are legitimate.  I made sure to take notes on who approved my membership, because I will be contacting them later.  I then took a few days to see which groups are getting spammed a lot and which ones are being moderated to remove any crap that goes live.  I then posted to a few of these groups, as a sort of test, just to see how many people would bite my offer lol.  I didn't get too much attention, but I also didn't post something along the lines of "Make $3,000 a day with little effort!" because it definitely does take some work to be a good affiliate and I don't want lazy people to work with my website.

  3. Contacting Group Admins:  Remember when I said I took notes on who accepted me to the groups?  Well I plan on contacting them directly and seeing if they will sign up for affiliate program or if they would allow me to post something legitimate within their group so I can pull in real people willing to work.  I might go as far as trying to pay them to make my post a sticky within the group so that it stays at the top of the page for everyone to see A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

With this 3 stage attack to get more affiliates I should be able to get on a lot of users radars and intice them to sign up on my site.  They already have all the promotional material available to them after registration, they just need to get the clicks and sign ups in order to make some commissions later on A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

Affiliate marketing is definitely tough to do, but getting people to come in and be your affiliates is just as tough in my opinion.  I've never really targeted affiliates in the past, so this will be an exciting journey for me lol.  I know how to generate a good amount of traffic to my websites, so I'll be doing similar methods, other than targeting affiliate marketers, in order to bring in even more traffic that has the potential to sign up as an affiliate.

The one thing that I haven't researched just yet is how much the CPC will be on Facebook for something along the lines of "Affiliates".  I know it's pricey if I were to run an adwords ad and target affiliate related keywords, so I would assume the pricing would be close on Facebook, but you never know A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

In Conclusion:
Since I've been doing marketing for 15+ years I already know what to do and what not to do when posting in facebook groups.  If you plan on doing something similar, I would urge you to be careful when posting or advertising because you could get banned or blow through your entire budget in a short amount of time without showing any positive results.  I would urge you to do a good amount of research and build relationships with the affiliate group admins so that you have a better chance of getting your advertisement live on their groups page without breaking any rules.  And if they say "No, we don't do that" you can always bribe them with a few bucks a week to get your pitch posted on their pages lol A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

The main recommendation that I can make is read as much on marketing forums as you can and listen to what people are saying DON'T work A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers

Read through the hype of a sales pitch and break it down for what it really is. Anyone writing about their own service or website will say it's great because that's how they make money. Ask around, see who's using it and be careful of letting your money go. Only invest if you're 1,000% sure with something and you should be good for a while A simple trick to increase how many affiliates are pushing your offers Later on you can take chances, but I would avoid them in the beginning.

Those are some great tips. I am on another end of this discussion. Where I am the affiliate marketer. Though nobody has reached to me for the offer. I have mostly got the offer through the official blog of the program. And that's something one can lok for as well. They need to add the content on their official service or the project. And this way they can add some serious money in due process there. You can see that many affiliates pushing the offer does not seem to be good option though. You have to find affiliates that convert. That's a lot better way for conversion.

It is always the conversion that matters in the end. I agree that you have to find marketers with a good conversion rate but that is easier said than done. Right now I am studying the nuances of affiliate marketing and I would probably on the other end like you because my planned website is an e-commerce that will deal with personal products that are fast selling. My other choice is to sell pet products and accessories which are also in demand.

Yes in case of ecommerce based sites you have to work hard on ranking each page. And sending traffic to each of the product pages is not easy. So in case of owning your own website that can be a bit harder for pushing affiliate income. I have seen that some offers are easier to convert but not always. So it all depends on your offer or say product.

I'm planning on going into affiliate marketing and one thing that has kept me back for long is this issue of not wanting to make mistakes from the beginning and I think this is where your tips and guide is cool. I am now confident of making it as an affiliate marketer as long as I implement these points effectively.

I'm still not in the game of affiliate marketing but I've been reading a lot about it so I can start with a good knowledge base because this is a very broad path (which by the way, doesn't stop growing) and I think getting started knowing most of the available possibilities is a big advantage.

I don’t think it is easy to post in Facebook Groups unless you are a well-known member there. One group admin said that they are strict in the posts because they do not allow spamming or advertising. That Facebook Group is about historical items. Anyway, how about creating your own Facebook Group that is relevant to your business? I guess that is much easier than simply spamming the other Facebook Groups.
