Creating the blog / website name can be a real headache for some people. Creativity is always an extra factor to solve this kind of problem, because a creative name is always something that attracts the attention of visitors. But unfortunately the "creativity" factor is not something that resides in everyone.
So, these people usually take too long to choose a name (after all, it can't be changed). How do you decide that?

I'll then pick one of the winners and go with it.
If you get too attached to a specific domain name, and it's taken, you're going to be heartbroken when you can't purchase it. Or you'll be heartbroken when you can purchase it in an auction or buy out, but can't afford it. You'll need to think of spin off domain names related to what you want to get in order to keep your mind at ease about your selection.
There have been times when it took me a few weeks to pick the right domain name for my new website I want to launch, which is very time consuming because I can look up a ton of domains in one day lol.
Try to keep the domain short and sweet, and not too complicated at the same time. If your ideal domain is mytopmarketingconsultantintheusa.com is taken but you want it to then be mymcitusa.com it will be hard to remember. Just think of something that will work, something that is short and sweet and something that can easily be remembered.
Remember, almost anything can be branded as long as it's short and sweet and also easy to remember
After writing this up, I noticed Cristian wrote up a pretty good Discussion about picking the right domain. Here it is: https://www.seocheckout.com/faq/24...the-right-domain When I'm choosing a domain name I'll write down 10 business names that I want to brand, and then I'll start searching for what is available. Usually most of them will be taken, and that's fine because I have many others that aren't :D I'll then pick one of the winners and go with it.
