It is relatively easy to make that amount of money writing if you are good at it. I would sign up for a site like Upwork. You have to bid against others, but if accepted you could easily make that amount. The same goes for other freelance talent you have. If you do web design or things of that nature you can make that money on a site like that.

You can easily make $250 and above just by freelancing, however, it depends on your skills, knowledge, and effort. Can you please tell us a little bit about what are your skills? It's hard to advise you unless you are more specific when giving information.

For me personally, the best niches for freelancing is anything to do with designing, SEO, programming, and coding. Writing is okay but there's way too much competition and you might struggle a lot at the beginning.

To freelance, it is best to start out small, and then put the experience you gain on your resume for future employers. You should start out on sites like r/slavelabour and r/WorkOnline to gain some experience doing things. You can also work for transcription companies such as Rev or GoTranscript. Be warned, as a freelancer, you will get taken advantage of and you will need to work for less than your ideal amount at first to build up your pool of clients but as you build up your experience pool, you become more credible in the field of writing. You can also sign up for sites like Textbroker that pay you to write articles. It's a convenient way to make money on your own time. It'll take some time before you make $250 a month, however, because as I said, you need to start low before you aim high.

If you are good at writing then you can easily join some writing sites online and some of them do pay you good money for your articles. You can also try online selling, affiliate marketing, blogging and earn by posting videos on YouTube. I make a decent amount of money through online selling and blogging. If you have some good skills then you can easily try to find some jobs online.

There is no secret bro, the only secret to making money is skill , do you have the skills, I mean the needed skills to get your dream pay?. $250, is a ridiculously cheap buck, if you have a digital skill, cemented with hard work and persistence because, the bucks don't come easy.
The first step is to learn a digital skill, it will cost you money to learn, not this online tutorials, they only teach you the basics and scope through the surface. you need to pay to acquire solid skill, from people with experience. if you love designing, go and enroll for a quality teaching class.
But if you want real bucks learn programming and mobile app development , do you know how much these guys buckle up?. How about $1550 on a go. is that simple?.

My freelancing avenue is not an online venture like most of the people here, so I'm not sure how much help my advice will be for you. I think you'll find that entry level freelancing jobs like article writing, blog posting, or that kind of thing will get you very little money for your efforts. The best way to make money online is to have a skill you can market to clients. Do you do any graphic design? Or maybe webpage design or programming? Things like that would be great ways to earn money online, especially if you have a body of work to show clients.

I do video and photography as an offline venture, and I may far more than $250 a month with my freelancing, because I have a marketable skill, a body of work to show for it, and produce work in a field that is in demand where I live. This is the best way to earn money through freelancing, in my opinion. You can keep grinding away on survey sites or writing for content mills, but you're going to find that the only real way to make money that way is to spend hours on hours grinding away at the gigs, and that's it. You'll just have to keep putting in more and more time to earn more.

You make a good point here--the more skills you have to offer, the more you can market yourself online to potential customers. I have only showcased my writing skills online, and I am not yet making that much money from it. I am going to look into Upwork and other sites, but so far, I am making very little. I have been putting in a lot of time "grinding away" as you say, but it is a lot of time to make so little. I am hoping my blogs will start to generate more revenue, but time will only tell.

You're making the right move putting yourself on various freelance websites. From what I've seen you post recently, I can tell you're an adept and competent writer. I think these are invaluable traits to have, especially if you're writing as a freelancer. It's a shame that online writers are a dime a dozen on freelancing sites like Upwork, which forces people who write very well to essentially "price match" their competitors in order to get gigs.

Yes, I have already started running into such bidding problems, but, for now, I am willing to take what I can get for the practice and experience while I hopefully build up a dedicated clientele or customer base in writing and freelancing and other gigs.

Currently, I am making just about $750 every month from various online sources. I make $150 through forum posting, I earn $150 as residual income from writing sites. I make just about $75 from affiliate marketing and another $75 from advertising on my websites. I also write for clients and make a substantial part of my online income by writing for clients.
If writing is your forte, join sites like Fiverr, Upwork, WordClerk and sell your services or bid on jobs. You can also earn from affiliate marketing if you have skills to convince people.

Gee, that $750 you earn every month is already a treasure here, no joke. That is big money which is already the salary of a bank supervisor. And to think that you are working only on your computer, not much expenses involved like when you are working in the office. I would also like to earn that much but not now because I still have an office job. Maybe when I retire, I would be good as a writer already and can earn by writing articles.

@corzhens $750 is also a big money in my home country. This amount is bigger than a bank teller's salary.
@joemilford In my experience, earning from Upwork is easier than earning from fiverr. On fiverr you list your service and wait for the clients to hire you. On upwork, you bid on the jobs and get hired. You can bid for lowest amount and chances of getting hired is high. When you have done few jobs, you gain good reviews and the reviews will help you get more winning bids.

I have not yet looked into Fiverr, but I have heard good things about it in forums like this and elsewhere. Making $150 writing at forums sounds like a lot too, from what I've seen.

I have worked in upwork and the site has been good to me, However, I no longer go to upwork and bid on jobs. I already have a handful of clients who regularly give me assignments. I have Fiverr, but my gigs are unsold. In my experience, forum posting is the easiest job to make money online. All you require is good writing skills and language skills. You can join paid to post forums and make good money by posting on these forums.

I would love to check them out. I've made some good money doing surveys and posts, but I would love to figure out how to make even more, if possible, so any suggestions you have here would be awesome if you are willing to offer them!

Have you tried Postloop and The Forum Wheel? In order to join these forums, you will have to do 10 test posts. When you are accepted, you will gain access to numerous forums. By posting on these forums you will earn 5-10 cents for each 3-4 lines posts.

That being said, I am familiar with some pay for post sites and have been using those a bit to some degree of success. They are actually fun to contribute to, and some of them are almost like taking a class for me because I learn so much from the topics and threads and the communities there.

Posting on paid to post forums is an easy way to make money. I make around $150 in a month just by post on forums available to me through Postloop and The Forum Wheel. You can also join freelancer sites and apply for the jobs available or advertise your service. If you offer to work for less than what your competitors are charging, you will find success. When I was new, I worked on a 5k ebook for just $30. Currently, I charge at least $220 for that project. I am in a position to as for more.

$250 a month is actually not that much especially if that is your main source of income. I make about that amount of money by doing paid posting every day for around an hour. I don't have to rely on that $250 a month as a source of income so it is a decent and good amount. I just use it as a source of revenue to save money for future purchases like a new computer or games. But you do need a lot of dedication. You need to make sure that your content is good enough whilst still hitting your daily targets to ensure you can earn $250 a month.

earning from PTC is very low. If you cannot get referrals, your earning will only be based on your ad clicks and you are not even earning 10 cents every day from on PTC site. PTC is just a waste of time. Consider improving your skills and join freelance marketplaces and start selling your services,. You will make good money from freelance marketplaces.

Secrets? There is no really secrets, but mostly strategies. You need something unique and valuable to sell. Not only cheapest services. If you want to attract more buyers, then before you offer your services, thing as a buyer, what and how would the buyer like or love your products or services. After you have right service at right price, invest time in promoting it, but also don't hesitate to hire more people to promote it for you! Invest!

Yeah, that's true. I don't think that we can call them secrets but the better word is definitely strategies or methods. We all develop our own ones depending on your skills and knowledge. For example, if I have no clue about SEO then I can't sell my services there even if it's profitable. I have to find areas where I can give something unique that the clients will want to buy.

If you're not trying, you won't make any money. You need to put yourself out there before you'll get anyone to take a chance with your services. What you should do is undercut the average for a specific service and get your initial wave of clients in. This way you can get a decent amount of reviews which will encourage others to purchase from you.

You'll need to do some top notch work and also over deliver. Let's say you're doing some article writing and you're selling 500 words of content for $10. Well that would be about the average so you would want to drop it to $5 per 500 words in order to get a good amount of clients in. You'll then want to send each of your new orders 750 words for the $5 even though they wanted only 500.

Doing it this way will undercut your current competition and keep your new clients coming back even after you raise your prices a bit to the average. You need to give them a taste of your skills before they will invest in you

You raise an important point. If we want to sell our services, we need to price our services less than out competitor. If $10 is the average price for a 500-word article, you can find clients if you offer to write for $5. Well, $5 is not a big amount. However, if there 100 clients asking you to write articles, you will earn $500. Well, this is a lot of money. You can increase your price for the returning customers or if you already have enough jobs on hand.

Most of the freelancing sites require low paid work. I think 150$ a month is lot harder. You have to focus on the amount you earn through recurring client though. That way you can be sure of what you're trying to get out the most from it. I think it requires some good clients. And also those clients need to pay on timely basis. That is what is going to work out with the freelancing as well. I have realized that not all people can easily earn 150 bucks that properly in that context.

It actually depends on what skills you have.
Though, when Bubblews was still at its peak before, I earn as much as $250 -250 a month. That is, even at night, I open Bubblews just to submit a post and interact with my fellow members.
Along the course of my being there, I enjoyed the interaction so much that it is already becoming the primary reason why I would go there.
But yes, you can make $250 a month, as long as you have the skills and a lot of time to spend on a site.

Yes, what skills you posses and your dedication and time towards exploring the many possibilities that exist online or even offline will determine your level of success and your ability to earn continuously a substantial sum every month. I have to employ you though you should probably aim higher even though for now you have no idea how you are going to achieve the sum stated. That way once you get active and your achievements begin to materialize you would have been ahead of your goal already because initially you have aimed higher and you will have become accustomed to producing at a significantly higher level.

I think there's no secret. You just have to be good in services that you are offering. If you have multiple skills and you think you can handle many clients then probably you'll get many freelance jobs and you could earn more money. You also have to make sure that your clients are satisfied with your work so that they can give you a good review which could help you to increase your rate.

Having a a lot of works to show to your customers is an important thing. If you are able to prove/show the quality of your works, there will be a higher chance that customers will to choose to work with you. Rating (if there are) is also important because many people, including myself, looks into the ratings first to see if there will be any problem in the interaction.

I'm not doubtful of the possibility to earn such an amount working on the internet, but it's always better to learn other skills as well in order to keep things moving as well. Learning graphic designing is part of my plan next time.

You've got to have specific skills to earn $250 or more just freelancing. Even microtasking sites require some skills. Those that set you apart from the freelancing population are the skills that you should set your sights on and develop.

I hit the $250 mark on my third month with a content mill although I wasn't one of the best writers around and I was, in fact, a complete newbie. I have other skills and know specialized areas like finance, investing, some foreign languages, and programming which allowed me to take related assignments with ease. I used them to my advantage and they allow me to be versatile enough to claim different types of writing assignments.

My earnings as a freelancer began to exceed the amount when I discovered other earning sites and began to be active in them. When a site lies low, I simply move on to the next site. I've developed a system of priority among these earning sites and I don't really mind working long hours during the weekdays as long as I get to relax on weekends and holidays.

Well, $250 is not a big money. If you can write and have good language skills, you can easily make that amount by posting on forums. You can make this amount even if you do not have any specialized skills. However, if you have specialized skills you can earn a lot of money. You need better skills, you need dedication, you need to market properly and you need to have patience.

I also believe it is possible to earn$250 and more online. I also believe that the only way to do this is to learn a skill and to improve your existing skills. I don't believe in offering services at very low fee because this may affect the quality of work you do. You will have to do more work to compensate for charging a reduced fee.You may get by, but you may never grow. You will be making a $5-20 for an article for years while people make up to $75. Online work is a journey. Continue to try different sites and options until you find what works for you. They are many reviews on how to make money online, they direct you to different sites.

I am focusing on SEO methods for now because I can see some promising prospects of earning in that direction. The target of $250 per month is very possible if you are providing SEO services to clients. When your work yields the desired results then I guess you could be earning even double of that amount with just a week of work. I just hope that I would be good in SEO work someday.

Well to give you a breakdown, you can earn $115-$115 a month posting in 2-3 forum posting sites. You could earn $15-$40 a month easy by joining several survey companies. Another $15 a month for several reward apps. About $40-$115 for trivia sites. About $10-$30 for affiliate earnings. The rest could be earned via gigs on freelance platforms, depending on your gigs you could earn between $30-$300 a month easy. That's what I was earning about 6 months ago.
