What to write at Social Media Sites to Promote my Referral Links?

I am very poor at getting referral links shared with my friends at Social Media sites. I had joined a handful of forum sites and writing online sites but I do not know what I should write to inform my friends that the sites I had joined could help them to earn money. In addition, I want to use my referral links to earn extra points.

Can anyone guide me?

It's depend on what you are referring for, because people in social media, lot of them stay away from something like that, they think that you only use them to earn money. If that site will help them too, so try to write a good post explaining to them how it work and what they will get if they sign up in your link, just don't lie about anything inthat site.

Yes, I think honest referrals and those you really want people to benefit from are the way to earn money. If people know they can trust you they are more likely to click on your referrals now and also in the future. This is the way to get great referrals I think.

It is not easy to get referrals and you have to be creative in promoting a site in social media because some people are turned off when they feel that you are using the social media for your own advantage. Sometimes I get annoyed when the marketing posts are repetitive and I feel that the seller is forcing the purpose to our throat. In times that I feel spamming what I do is to hide the post.

I think the best ways to get some referrals isn't necessarily through Twitter and Facebook because people are hesitant to click the links, instead, I suggest you try to get some through various forums and Reddit. Reddit has special subreddits that are dedicated to people using each other's referrals and helping each other out What to write at Social Media Sites to Promote my Referral Links? the same goes for forums.

Forumcoin members helped each other by PM to each other for the referral links. Nope, you cannot post the referral links on the site itself but you can PM to each other . This is how we spread out internally.

When you are sharing your referral link, you should always write a teaser. A teaser is one-liner that tells something about the link you are sharing and also makes the people want to know more about it. Your teaser should encourage people to click on the link. Never write cliche sentence such as this is a good program/product/service, instead, highlight what is good about it.

What i do is i do itvthe old fashioned way. I refer the product/site by mouth to my friends. Showing them what I have can convince them will showcase the product's credibility and legitimacy.

Yes, I do that too . My close friends and FB friends, I would recommend them those sites that I had earned money online. However they are skeptical about these sites. How do I prove to them that these sites are legit?

If a lot of people are not familiar with referral links, then they might be skeptical of your links because they don't even know to what extent they have to do things to get whatever they are promised to get. To do that, you have to make sure your intended audience, which is in your case your social media friends, know that the hassle is relatively minimal and the reward are real. You can help that by sharing your personalized description especially with your own experience.

Thanks very much. I need to find out what type my audience are. It is true that minimal chances of friends would register under my referral with lack of proof images.

Just let them know what your site is you are promoting and what will they get out of it. Try also creating a Facebook page and post in groups. Like make money group or affiliate groups to advertising.

I think you have to learn the options to be authority on social media. This way you can get more following. And then getting more leads for your projects won't be much of an issue. You can see that it takes time for social media leads to form and once you do then things can get started lot easier for you. But I have learned that promoting those social media links is not an easy option as well.

I'd go for broke and do it one step at a time. Post a thread that can gain interest on people with the same likes and use that as my starting point

Before approaching anyone asking them to join a site you should give a write up on the site in question talking about how quickly you earn there and how much. Time is of the essence for most and hence that factor should be highlighted. You could also say how easy it is to participate specially where not many words are required to create, respond or comment.
You can also attach payment proof.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Thanks, you made several points there. Write up a post on my review of that site, add in the referral link and show the payment proof to get the readers to believe me. Right, I will do that.

I advice that you show them proofs that you earned money from that links in that case your relatives and family believe you. Most people nowadays asking for proofs for the reason that scammers are everywhere so you cant blame them. Start creating your proofs and explain them honestly what you gain from that link and for sure they will believe you. Honesty is the best policy.

Yes, honesty is the best policy, everyone wants to see to black and white proof. Nothing beats that. I will write up short post of those sites I want to promote and see how it goes, maybe on my own blog itself. Thanks for your advice.

Hi there
Thanks for your query. If you intend to join on affiliate program, it is really good idea but the marketplace is massive. So, you need to well prepare for this sector. In shortly, I can not explain all things but as specific on your question, I am going to tell short tips how you used affiliate link on social network. Firstly made it short by shorten service like goo.gl or bitly than promote it. If you want to track traffic or want to hide your url, you must to use shorten url. Than write a short description with exclusive offer. it is base on which product your are promoting and what things you are promoting. Use most exclusive offer to attract your user. And try to explain how they will be benefited, if they access your link or join there. Lot of method still left.
please try to read several article on CD and Google, there has lot if idea.

I just go over my personal success and tell them briefly what the program/product/service is about. I don't like posting on social media because most people aren't on there to make money or buy something.

I normally try to convince my friends to join the sites by telling them how easy it is to earn or how interesting the tasks are. I also show them the proof of payments and this is what mostly influence them to join. I have seen that sharing my referral links on Facebook does not really work.

I think it mostly depended on what you want to share.I noticed when i Started sharing my affiliate links on social media, I didn't have many sales but when I started posting them with an explanation. There was some improvement. You can do same everywhere you're trying to post your links.

You need to sit down and analyze what you want to share with these target audiences and then set out the way that you would use in achieving that. One thing about sharing things on social media is that most of its users would like you to give a clear explanation of the products/services that you're sharing for them to now reason if it is truly worth their time. So, whatever you want to share, always do that with a comprehensive explanation attached to it and never forget to make it convincing.

When doing marketing in social media sites, you have to be creative because once you are tagged a spammer, you friends or followers may block you, worse you can be unfriended or unfollowed. One rule that I follow is to post just once a day but better if 2 or 3 times a week so your readers will not be saturated. And your marketing post should be interesting to them since it may not be relevant at all. One method that I liked was a humorous post that can be enjoyed by the reader even if the business is not relevant to them. At least there was a joke that they enjoyed reading so they will be waiting for your next post.

Frankly, I gave up on sharing referral links. I'm talking about referral sign up links. Links you share to try to recruit new members to a site.

I just tell others about a great site I find. If they want to sign up. Fine. If they don't. Fine.

I admit it sounds great when you sign up at a site and the owners say you get credit if you refer others and get them to join. But this has been my experience:

Somebody signs up using my referral link and THEY DO NOTHING!!

What does that mean? It means:
  • Sure! They used my referral link but so what!

I don't even know why they bothered signing up.

I'm done with sharing referral “sign up” links.

* There are some sites that put your referral ID in any link. In those cases, I share a link that includes my referral ID and if someone joins and I get credit because they came via that post link … Fine.

* Sometimes I might write a blog post about the site and put the referral signup link in the post.

Other than that, I'm not going out of my way to recruit via my referral link.

I'm sure the site owners mean well but it has not worked for me.

I think that you need to join the relevant groups on this social media sites. If you are on Facebook for example join Facebook groups that are concerned with earning money. People need to learn how to use social media. Take a course if you have to,even a free one. Social media marketing is not just about posting promotions/links to your friends. There is a broader audience which you need to find and promote your link to.
