What social network is the best for advertising?

I have a Facebook account which is my main endeavor in social media. It is the most potent of social networks at present with 2 billion users. Aside from that, users are mostly active based on my experience. Too many of my friends are posting everyday and interaction is very dynamic. So my take on social networks, Facebook is the best for advertising purposes.

Definitely agree with this, Facebook is now considered the virtual place where people get together. Where's the best place to advertise? Facebook.

Facebook users will also give out reviews about you are offering. If they like it, they'll comment about it promoting it. If they don't like it though, they'll give out bad reviews so just make sure your product is in best quality to not get disliked by the users.

I agree with this. I am one of those who frequently use Facebook over every other social media. I find it as an essential part of my life. It's pretty easy to have advertisements reach your target users on Facebook.

Using social media to adverstise one product, the best to use is all of them. The more sites your ad is available, the more chance the product will be seen. It doesn't matter which social media is the best, what matters is your target market, which is the user.

I agree with this reply as well, why only use one when you can use both? But if don't have spare time to use both sites, I suggest you go with Twitter. Twitter's User Interface is way friendlier and I can say that user to user interaction in Twitter feels more personal, which makes your "audience" trust you more.

Go with both if you have the time, but If you can't do that, use Twitter.

I agree. It is best to advertise to all social media networks available. Even those who are not yet known in the public because you are doing business and your business is not solely focuses on a group of people but to all the people who are using social media. The more your ads are seen on various social media, the more you can get customers to your business.

In general, Facebook is considered the best social network to invest in ads. However, you need to always be aware of the profile of your target audience.

Does your target audience prefer Facebook more than Instagram? Sometimes many people are wrong and bet all their chips on Facebook, however, you need to assess where most of your audience is concentrated.

All of them! I never understand the question of ''which is the best'', they're all good so use them all. Don't just focus on one... focus on all. The more advertising, the bigger market you cover, the more traffic you will generate.

For me, personally, it is in this order:

- Twitter,
- Facebook,
- YouTube,
- Instagram,
- the rest.

It honestly also depends on your target audience and what they prefer using.

Yes, Instagram can be good as well but it obviously focuses around posting photos rather than text or posts. So unless you have some photos and then put some text on them to try to attract people to your blog, it might be hard. I guess, Facebook and Twitter and your best options! You could always try, there's nothing to lose.

Forum is one of the best for advertising your business over the top. If you're not a people person, then you might be more comfortable working for someone else. However, if you are an extrovert like myself, you will enjoy the benefit of having forums to network with other like-minded individuals who share the same vision as you.

There is no such thing as best, as along as it works for you it will be your best. Which one is best depends person to person. A persom who has 1000 followers on Pinterest and just 200 friends on facebook will love Pinterest more than facebook because he will be
getting more Pinterest traffic than facebook. facebook is the largest social media, however, it is not working for people who have less followers and friends.
Which social media is best depends on various factors such as
Followers: More followers you have, better is the conversion
Audience: various social media have different kind of demographics, your success rate depends on the demography of the particular social media.,

It depends on your niche, but I've had the most success with Facebook. Their targeted ads seem to be the most efficient and I actually found people interested in my company, unlike Youtube/Twitter where people were mostly just curious.

I believe it would be best to use Facebook for that matter. It is very convenient since they allow the creation of pages which you could use to promote the product or business you are willing to advertise. What's better is that Facebook even offers services for advertising your page which will then help it get views and traffic, despite Facebook users not actually visiting the page. I haven't seen any other social media that offers the same kind of services.

With 2 billion monthly active users, facebook sits on top of the list, plus its a great place if you are running targeted promotions too. Instagram is another great place as they really have high engagement and it is constantly growing rapidly too. Just set out a budget for your marketing needs and when you start seeing results, you can then scale up.

Facebook seems to be gaining a lot of popularity lately for the better conversion. Many sites and the services are making use of the facebook. You can see that some people also make use of the adwords and the twitter ads. That may also work but you may not find it easy to convert in some cases. I have found facebook ads to be more useful in that case.

I believe Facebook is the best place for advertising because it has large number of members and not only members but actively participating in their daily routine. I myself is member of Facebook community and once encourage to buy something i saw in one of the advertisement placed in Facebook. Most people choose Facebook rather than other social media sites because of being user friendly. It also has advance features wherein other sites doesn't have it. My family, friends and I strongly agree that Facebook is the best and effective place for advertising.

Well the truth is that I feel the most appropriate answer would be that they're all the best one. Each has their own benefits and rather than focusing on the demographic of one or the other, it's important to view them a single entity and create one huge demographic for yourself. That being said, I don't think it's exactly the answer you're looking for.

If you were to limit yourself to just one platform, I would say that at the moment Facebook is the way to go. Twitter has 328 million users, while Instagram has about 250 million. Facebook, on the other hand, has recently gone to over 2 billion users with the number expected to each over 3.2 billion at the current rate. Not only is it very popular but many people take it seriously and constantly stay up to date with it, so Facebook is prime real estate for advertisement.

Hi there thanks for your query. I would like to say from my practical experience. I advertised my website in two different social network Facebook and google. Facebook one of the best source for getting traffic by cheap rate. I advert here many times and I got well response. But, disappointment is you will not get worth targeting client by advertising on Facebook. You will get huge responsive but over 50% unrelated and they will not make any profit to you. But, for cheap and convenient concern, you can add your product on Facebook. Contrast with other social network google one of the best platform for adverting your product. Though cost concern it is bit higher than other. But for effectiveness and getting targeting traffic, google one of the effective source for advertising. Twitter and linkedin also considerable.

It's a good idea to be on as many social media platforms as you can for marketing purposes. People don't use just one medium of social media, and being on multiple platforms allows you keep your business or your product in front of your audience more prominently. Facebook is a great start because it has the highest traffic and monthly user count than any other platform. Starting a page and promoting posts and other advertising material is a great way to get yourself out there.

However, don't discredit other platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. You'll find different crowds there sometimes. Instagram appeals more toward the "artistic" crowd, so you'll have to tailer your posts and marketing strategies to focus more on visual things like photos and videos to be noticed there.

I agree with you, you should never discredit any of the social media platforms with good data statistics. depending on what you are promoting, some social media sites might just prove more important than others, so when you are evenly spread out, you can be rest assured that which ever network it is you require for promotion, you have a good follower base there.

For me I see more success when using Facebook. As there is a lot of way's to promote from making your own business Facebook page to joining or creating groups.

There is also campaigns which can drive traffic to your website or page. As there is few choices I find owning your own group works great. Think of a catchy group name to go with your niche and upload a picture for the cover. Fill the description well and add your friends and try get more members in your group.

I know more people will say that Facebook, Twitter, or Linkedin is the best for advertising but to be honest I disagree with that because I tried to advertise on these networks but they are not effective for my sites. According to me, using high traffic blogs and forums that relate to your site niche is the best effective and can convert traffic into sales.

Pardon me for saying this, no offense meant, but I think your are not using the proper way of promoting your interest in Facebook. With the more than 2 billion users, it is definitely the largest pond of fish and all you need to do is to use the proper reel and hook and bait. Maybe you have to modify your approach and establish a stronger presence in Facebook so your posts will be noticed. If you are not interacting with people in your network then they may do the same to you.

I disagree with @itommy and agree with @corzhens. I have tried advertising on facebook. I did not get the expected sales through my facbook advertising campaign, however, I did get a lot of traffic. With a small budget of $15, I was able to reach 14K people through facebook.

PPC is definitely more effective than some blogs and forums. People are earning more leads through facebook, twitter and instagram. And they are not wasting time on random forums. It depends on the type of the product or service you have. If it's low quality it would be promoted through blog and forums. High quality products get better response on fb.

Facebook is very good for advertising as they will find the target audience for you in your target countries. The prices aren't cheap if you want a million or thousands of viewers, but it's pretty decent for a hundred or so. Aside from that, I think Twitter would be a good idea. The only con to it is that you have limited characters in a tweet.

To me, the best social media for advertising is Facebook. The interface and features are simple and easy to use. You can create a page and when you set everything right, within days, you may get the necessary traffic to your page.
More traffic could mean more customers or clients for your products and services.

Below is a chart showing the most popular social networks. They're popular. But are they the best for advertising?

Out of the 15, I have accounts at 8 sites. It would be 10, but for some reason neither Instagram or Reddit will approve me. (O.o) (???).

Out of the 8 sites, in my humble opinion, the best one for advertising is Twitter.

Why? Because anything you share or advertise on any of those other social networks can be tweeted! Tweets are real time bursts of information tidbits around the clock. Tweets were created to grab a person's attention.

That's my flawless logic and I'm sticking to it!

You have a point. I market my websites on Twitter as well as facebook. I get more clicks from Twitter than from facebook. I have tried paid advertising on facebook, it works. I am yet to try paid advertising on twitter. Therefore, I cannot compare paid advertising on twitter with facebook. But I imagine that twitter has a better conversion rate because twitter generates more traffic than from facebook.

I "tested" paid advertising on Facebook. I wouldn't call it trying because I couldn't spend that much money. My test showed that if I had paid a little more for advertising it would have probably worked well. As for Twitter, I am thinking about trying it. I think you're right about it generating more traffic. But will the traffic turn into commissions? My websites, blogs and social media accounts are for affiliate marketing.

From my facebook ad campaign, I was able to generate thousands of clicks on my websites and products. However, the traffic did not convert well. Therefore, I am confused on whether your facebook ad campaign will bring sales or. Facebook advertising works if you are trying to gain social signals or followers I was able to generate followers for my facebook pages and likes on my posts through facebook advertising.

I'm using Facebook ad campaigns since 2015 and I think it is one the best PPC network because of its good pricing. Facebook ad campaigns are more advanced now and it gives a lot of options to target your audiences with interest and demographic options.

I use Facebook and twitter! I didn't quite knew how to do it through instagram so I stick to facebook. There's a lot of traffic and you can make your family and friends to help you if you don't want to spend money in "real" -paid- advertising. I sold many products just doing so and it worked great, so Facebook is the answer to your question.

I mostly use Facebook for advertising. I also have a Facebook page and so far I have been quite successful when it comes to advertising on Facebook. I have been able to sell many of my products. My friends have also been helping me by encouraging their friends to visit my page. I think how successful you are also depends on the products you are selling.

The best social network for advertising purpose is the one where you have the most followers. Let me illustrate this. You have 1000 followers on your facebook page and 2000 followers on twitter. For you, twitter will be a better platform for advertising. I have 2K followers on facebook but only 1K followers on twitter. For me, facebook is a better platform. Another important point that you have to consider while choosing an advertising platform is the reach. You have more followers means you can reach more people.
