If I got it right, I see no reason for EU to fine google for this.
Oh, nvm, another quick search got me to wiki which states the following:
In June 2017 Google Shopping was fined a record €2.4 billion by the EU Commission for giving its own online shopping services top priority in search results.
Seriously? You will fine a company that promotes itself rather than others? Cmon, be serious. It is their right to do so. If people really cared about other sites they would use them. Big deal lol Ok, so after reading the article about it, if I got it right. Google has made a thing that helps people find cheaper products. If those products come from any other country that isn't EU, EU does not like it and it decides to act on it. If this is really the case, I feel sorry for being the part of EU. As a potential buyer, I would buy anything that's cheaper, as most other people would do. If I got this whole thing right. If I got it right, I see no reason for EU to fine google for this.
