How your Clients Success is Your Success over and over again

I get a lot of people, prospective clients and just general members of the public or even past clients and contacts etc, ask me for help and or advice on doing something online when it comes to digital marketing and doing something specific. And or they ask for something which you can provide to them, some freelance service of some kind. Whether on here or just in business in life in general you know. And it wasn't something I was expecting when I first started out freelancing. Although I did know I'd obviously get good feedback from people, thanks, praise etc for doing the work and or for doing a good job for them.

And that's a great thing. But when it comes to actually freelancing, you're doing something for them which can help them to advance or succeed somehow online. Whether it's some SEO service or some SMM service or something else altogether; video creation, content writing, whatever! By doing that for them, that is helping them to grow and to find success in their online endeavors! How your Clients Success is Your Success over and over again

And it's just cool when you see that happening you know? As a freelancer, when you hear about how your client has found some success somehow from some social media site they've been focusing on. When you've done some promotional work for them on that site or something that helped them too. When they tell you about their improved traffic and earnings stats. And I have to be honest, I do hear it with a little enviousness lol. But I hear it with gladness too, glad for them and that it was me that caused that! How your Clients Success is Your Success over and over again

And that is actually quite a good feeling. I ain't even going try to sugar coat it. God damn it does feel good to see people on top! To see the people I have worked for succeeding especially! And especially so if some of their success is attributed to me and the work I've done for them you know?

This is a good reason to try not to burn your bridges with past clients and keep them under your belt if you know what I mean! Basically, just sending them the odd courtesy message to see how they are can be enough to keep bridges open. Sometimes they might tell you that they're not doing that well or don't need anything else right now.

But if you have thousands of past customers that have left you a good rating on here or anywhere else for that matter, those can be targeted like this and occasionally, you may get one that says to you how they are doing well in some area, or even, that what you have done for them got them off to a flying start.

Well well done to you! That's what it's all about right? How your Clients Success is Your Success over and over again

And this makes a great point too. If you've helped someone to find some success online. You can really capitalize on that and use it to your advantage. Think about it, you could create blog posts about your clients and how you've helped them to find some success which in turn, would bring you more success in doing that from the people that read those posts.

But other peoples success, is YOUR success! And as a freelancer or even as a business, you can use that clients success as a springboard to even more success for your own business. Not to mention more sales from them for reaching out to them with a courtesy message and from those that read those success stories on your blog and social media pages too. It's a no brainer! I need to do more of this myself! How your Clients Success is Your Success over and over again

Have you helped people to find success online?

Have any of your past clients told you about their success  because of work you done for them?

Do you reach out to past clients in this way with a courtesy message to see how they're doing?

Do you use your clients success, to find even more success?

I just bought a laptop. The decision was made last week and I informed the dealer about it. When I made a follow up yesterday, the dealer said that the laptop will be delivered later today. When I said that I don't have the cash right now, she said that it's all right. She's giving me a 30-day credit for the laptop. Isn't that great? Perhaps I can call it a success of sorts that I can have my laptop sooner than I expected of my budget. And I know that the dealer is pretty happy that I was grateful of what she had offered to me. Such sales people are gifted.

That is what I call a success indeed! hahaha. You had your laptop, you met a wonderful dealer, and also a 30-day credit for it. Seriously great. And that is what makes a satisfied customer keeps buying on that dealer, it will attract more customers that will be thankful as you are, and obviously it will generate a successful dealer too.

Well success encourages progress and we all can work together in this regard. It's always good to have and maintain a good reputation in both business and personal lives. This is like planting in good soil and in good condition so as the reap great harvest. This brings to mind the good old saying "make every bargain clear and plain that none may afterwards complain." Most of all I will add my 2cents to that by saying "and in this regard your business will be fruitful and your clients will return with great success for you again and again!

I absolutely agree with you, and it's something that many people might not even consider. The truth is that with more success also comes more work. Often times the more progress you make, the more work starts to pile on. It becomes exponential. The success may be good for the client, but it is also good for you because they will be coming to you again for help with all the extra work they need done. If you work with a client for a while, and their business endeavor fails, the chances of finding work with them again are slim to none. That is why it's important that we always put our best effort into anything we do.

Great post!

I have always found that the provision of a good job and the fact of leaving you satisfied is one of the most important things to survive in a business.

I think satisfied customers always come back and also end up pointing their company to other people whenever possible. So customer loyalty is the way to success.

I have to agree that successful clients are going to make our business successful. You can see that those who are into clients delivery. You'd surely find the performance of the clients work in much better form. You can't fix things though. You may need to take things one at a time. Referral system with successful clients is also possible. Many people have tried this and it seems to be working out for them.

Yes, that should be my daily affirmation as a freelancer: My client's success is my success.

I feel a lot of fulfillment whenever I see that something I've done had been part of the reason for a client's success. I know that this is also good for my business as the client will likely come back and will be less likely to take a risk on other freelancers. The client may even refer me to his/her colleagues or friends which can help my business grow further. In addition, I can always use my work with the client as a reference for potential clients.

I totally agree that your client's success is also your success. It's like saying that we rise when we help other people rise. It's true that you can use it to your advantage as a result of helping people. Not only that you can use the success story of your client, your client might even give you referrals, which can give more value to your success. When you help clients, you maximize the concept of leveraging. To leverage means to be able to get the results you want with minimal use of resources such as time, money, and energy. Instead of you trying to find more clients, the ones you have helped might give you referrals, making it easier for you to find quality people who will patronize you. This saves you time and energy but you get more results with more referrals. Help clients become successful and maximize leveraging to your advantage. Their success is also your success.

This is my opinion is the definition of purpose. Most of the time work is boring and mundane because you are only doing it for money. When you value client satisfaction, you have given your work direction. In my opinion, this is the only way you can enjoy what you are doing and continue doing it.

It's also worth noting that some clients will appreciate your efforts and some however good the work is will never appreciate it. This concept is used in child rearing, where if you praise the child when they do good, they will be attracted to doing good and will continue to do so.

I have tried some other ways of earning money online because my freelancing friends usually send me invitations to sites that pay. When I first saw PTC, I was amused what paid-to-click means. It was easy because all I had to do was click on the button and I will be shown another page where I had to click again. Another site has the images that changes when clicked. Each click is worth something that I could earn one dollar after 3 to 4 hours of doing nothing but clicking. That gave me mental fatigue.
