2. To Paraphrase Picasso

The tips are absolutely incredible (thanks for it) and it's always good to have the advice of people who knows how things work.

I particularly think that 5. The Answer is Unthinkable (the answer has to be able to travel anywhere) / 8. Focus on Results (without having a focus you can't get anywhere satisfactory) / 9. Do not Promote Crap (why waste time and credibility doing this?) and 10. Learn From The Top (success references are always a must) are points that should be highly regarded.

In my opinion, they are the most important among the 10.

I think some of the content in social media is regurgitated. And people don't want to talk about it. Lot of people need to be mindful about how they are handling the media professionals. Because lot of the media professionals are making invalid statements on the future trends. And so we just do not need to follow the social media people blindly. And we have to find out what may work and may not work on our own. That seems to be the way that works with most of the people. That's all I can say from my experience.

Are you hinting on the fake news that the media is spewing lately? I guess the purveyors of fake news are more in the social media networks because news people in the traditional media particularly the newspapers have their discipline and oath of profession to be fair and just in their reporting. Social media is rife with fake news. Making it worse is the propensity of people to share the said fake news.

I was referring to the quotes, propaganda and also the fake news from left wing people. Social media has been used to destroy the conservative family and religion for years. And that is one thing that worked out for left wing people for destroying the social norms too. I think it is getting worse now each day.

A lot of good points in this post, and I think many of them are reflected in what it takes to succeed in a lot of fields in life, not just social media marketing. There are thousands of people out there that may have the same exact goals as you, and each one is in competition with you. You can bet your bottom dollar that you're going to have to pull some creative strings to really stand out from the crowd. I also like point number three, and it reminds me of the old saying, "Jack of all trades, master of none." When it comes to just about anything in life, it's better to channel your focus and become great at a few things than be simply okay or worse at a lot of them. Great post!

More and more people from marketers and businessmen and women are breaking into social media circles. These day's I do feel tips like your's and others on Clerks have a lot of information which is very valuable just not many members are using these type of strategies which I feel would help.

Neil Patel is captain obvious again, I really don't dig this guy and can't understand why he is always quoted by everybody. I've watched his videos and read a lot of his articles, he regurgitates the same old stuff everybody else says with little or no charisma or personal touch. Sorry, but I found that he sometimes contradicts himself and uses a lot of shady tactics to prove his points, especially when it comes to interpreting Google Analytics data.

With that out of the way, everyone else you listed is right, especially Rand Fishkin! I love this guy and his Whiteboard Fridays. Probably one of the most truthful SEOs out there with a real talent for teaching but also finding SEO insides.

Nice Tips, especially the number 3. you just spoke like my mentor, he will always tell you that it's not how far, but how well, it is very important that marketers, need to focus on one ship and perfect at that, before sailing to another one. It is better to be a master in one ship, than to be a slave in a thousand ships. Nice Tips

I think these tips are good, but you simply must decide what is going to work for you and what isn't. There are some tips that are really good and some that aren't. It is just one of the things you need to evaluate when you are looking for social media. It is just one of the options that you might need when promoting your site.

This is really interesting. If I have to choose one of these tips I will go with Kara Burney "Good marketers copy; great marketers steal!"
The #3 is also very useful and ibformative. Be Amazing on Few - Don't Suck at All
By the way I also agree with what Idea Mike says. The #10 is a very valuable point. We need to learn from the experts.

There is so much that we can learn from our competitors. It is imperative for us to watch their moves as those will guide us to what to do next. I am currently on only three social networks and there have been some people who have been telling me to join all the social media. This is impossible for me to do. I prefer to concentrate on those sites which are more popular and where I am able to attract more customers.

We can learn from leaders, we can learn from our competitors. However, learning is one thing and implementation is another thing. You might learn so many things from your competitors and leaders, however, you may not be able to use everything. Secondly, success largely depends on how you are doing it, and also luck.

Spreading yourself too thin will result in lack of focus and engagement. Take for instance the marketing in Facebook, how can you handle all the comments of your promotional posts if you also have a post on Twitter, Instagram and some other social media. It is like having the best of everything but managing your marketing posts is important especially when the comments pertain to the details and the inquiry looks like a business prospect. I will go for only 1 social media network and focus all my attention to my audience there.
