They say, "make friend with Google", but how when it tries to shut all doors?

People are always saying, "make friend with Google", but how when Google is always trying to shut all doors for users? We are consumers and in the free market, the Customer is King. However, it seems that Google is King, or is it Queen? So, dear readers, do you agree that Google has the most "Hardest  Rules" when it come to the Internet?

I believe you want to look up after some SEO services, if I got your point right, you want google to be "your friend". Well with so many sites and what not you can't expect to see your site on top over night. You need to work hard on it as well. I hope that is what you were asking. Unless you were trying to get a job in google haha

Maybe he means Google in connection with SEO? as in the reaching higher ranks on Google? I'm not sure but I don't think that you should see Google as your enemy. You just have to come to terms with it because they are the biggest search engine and it's important for SEO and for having a successful business nowadays.

I wouldn't say that they have hard rules but rather, strict rules which are good. Imagine if they wouldn't have any? there would be chaos and nobody would know how to rank higher. Rules are always good. They maintain control plus if you know them and know what Google is looking for, it isn't that hard to satisfies those requirements.

That is true indeed. They do need to follow certain laws as well, so they can't just please everyone. SEO is the most important thing for somebody who is starting and trying to make his way up. But, do keep in mind that there is more than SEO as well. You could be ranked no.1 on google search but still fail with your website.

I think many people think of google as some sort of authority and chase SEO for that. I think there are many other ways to get traffic. And SEO should be least of anyone's concern. So it's worth noting that one should not take google into consideration all the time. Just do some basic SEO and focus on other ways to get traffic. Google eventually follows. For example if you become popular on social media, google will follow.

I think Google is flexing its big muscles from time to time. I have just read one topic that Google had removed more than a billion ads because they violated the ethical standards of Google in terms of good advertising. That’s nice to hear. And lately, YouTube has declared a new policy for the monetization of videos. Google now requires a minimum in the number of subscribers and viewing hours of your YouTube channel

Off course Google's rules are hard. This is because they are a monopoly. They can do what they want, they can change the rules at any time they feel like. This is what happens when a corporation gets too big. That's why regulators like the EU are always fighting them.People need to start using other search engines because Google is a giant and will start misbehaving, look at how Facebook acted in the USA election?
