Hi,
A friend of mine, web designer, says that most customers do not understand what SEO's, and they want result immediately. There are specialized courses in SEO? Offering a title that sounds good (SEO Engineer or something), and possibly a degree? (I guess if you have a degree or something, it would be easier to convince "the boss overnight").
Thanks !

SEO isn't an exact science. You simply can't measure it. You can be a very good SEO in theory but disastrous in practice, SEO involves a lot of separate skills, like research, content writing, technical SEO skills and strategy building. Few SEOs can do them all, this is why in the future SEO will have a couple different branches of specialization. Well, no, not really. There are a lot of courses on the web you can try, some of them are free and some of them are paid (go on udemy) but otherwise I never found a credible source that is known by everyone in this industry to offer SEO certificates of some kind.
