So how does Google Analytics know the gender of the person visiting my website?
I am totally confused by this because for my mommy blog it shows me that the majority of my visitors are men and this just can't be right!
Could it be that Google can only pick up the gender of the owner of the computer or the gender of the person the mobile contract is made out to?
So perhaps the computer and the internet connection is paid for by a man but his wife is using the computer?
Can anyone clarify this for me, since I am a little bit confused by it.

Previously i owned large recipes / cooking website and majority of visitors were male as well, while on my fashion blog i see it shows up that woman are really leading
In any case, i don't think it's really accurate, but i would take it as prediction only! I am not sure if that prediction detail is accurate at all and i was wandering same thing, specially when it comes age groups of you your visitors (on some other analytics)... However don't be surprised even if it's almost accurate stats. It doesn't necessarily mean that moms taking most of the care about babies :) Nowadays you can see that dads doing much more then 15-20 years ago, when it comes to housekeeping, cooking, baby care etc...
