I've been using WooCommerce for my ecommerce for a while now, probably a few years. I've never had a bad time with them because they have such an extensive plugin that it makes it so I don't have to look anywhere else in order to get my blog or website set up to sell.
The WooCommerce plugin is pretty simple to set up. Basically you upload your image, set your title and description, set your pricing and sale price and configure your payment options and you're all ready to go! The payment gateways or payment systems allow you to accept all major credit cards, use PayPal, set up BACS (bank transfers), and CODs (Check On Delivery). If you need some additionol payment methods you can always choose from the 140+ region-specific gateways to integrate with WooCommerce. These additional gateways include Stripe, Authorize.Net, Amazon Payments and many more
The diversity of WooCommerce is immeasurable because there are so many additional add ons, free and paid, that you can install on to your WooCommerce plugin to customize it even further. Me personally, I don't need too many additional add ons because the main WooCommerce plugin is so powerful and loaded with features that I don't need anything else. I do however always opt for the $75 a year add on called, well, add ons lol. The "Add Ons" add on lets you do something similar to here on seocheckout.com. Have you ever seen a service here selling something for $XX.XX and then they have some add on services for an additional charge near the bottom of the descriptions? Well that's what the "Add Ons" add on does for your WooCommerce plugin I think it should be a free add on, but I don't mind paying the $75 a year for this because of the power it holds. You can have an advanced shopping cart with add ons that all show up and are customizable, which is worth it's weight in gold
If you're trying to sell something, or a lot of things online, you should check out WooCommerce because it's extremely powerful for a free plugin. If you get the "Add Ons" add on then it will be about $6 a month but it's worth it

I honestly can't compare it to anything else though because I haven't used anything else but I have heard that Woocommerce is certainly top of the list when it comes to ecommerce.
I would recommend anyone interested in it to give it a go. I wasn't disappointed. Thanks for this review Razzy, I used Woocommerce Wordpress Plugin when I had my online baby store and I have to say that it was really easy to learn how to use. It worked really well creating different product variations and I never had any problems.
