The W3 Total Cache plugin helps out the users experience when it comes to increasing the performance of the website by reducing download times of various things like images and the overall pages. Whenever you go to a page you may notice that it needs a little extra time to load, that's usually because of the images or scripts on the page. It could be because your computer is slow, but if you aren't having the same problem on other websites, it's probably the website itself and not your hardware 
The W3 Total Cache Plugin has over 1,000,000 downloads with thousands of 5 star reviews. It has a couple hundred negative reviews, but that's reasonable when you think of how many download there are. If there were 400 negative reviews (there are actually less) and 1,000,000 downloads, that would mean roughly 1 in every 2,500 users who downloaded this plugin actually don't like it. If I had that kind of positive feedback I would be ecstatic

If these big names trust the W3 Total Cache Plugin, then why can't you?
If you don't know who Matt Cutts is, he's one of the lead guys when it comes to the Google search algorithm. I think he's more of a spokesperson and not an actual programmer, but he and his team won't use something they don't think is high quality. And I mean if a main guy in the Google search team is using a plugin then you know it's good
I would highly suggest you check out the W3 Total Cache Plugin and try it out. You can speed up your website or blogs pages and that's always a good thing when it comes to SEO and rankings

So this plugin just makes everything run faster? Sounds awesome. Yeah I agree with you, everything will have a bad review at some stage, especially when you are looking at over a million downloads.
