I am busy working on building up my Youtube channel and I was just wondering if purchasing backlinks to videos would build up my channel or not?
I am buying packages to rank my videos from my new favorite social media freelancer (yes you Mike) but I am just wondering what else I can do to build up this channel?
I’ve got my Youtube SEO sorted, I know how to SEO my actual videos quite well, most of them rank on the first page of Youtube and a lot of them are #1 on Youtube already.
I just want some more ideas on how to juice up my videos at a low cost.

I don't know exactly if that means you will also rank better internally, like in Google's internal search results, but nevertheless building links can benefit a lot in the long run.
Since we are talking about Youtube here, I wonder if you can get penalized by using black hat methods, I think it would be pretty hard to get a youtube link penalised by Google, lol. Yes, it will help a lot from an organic point of view, meaning you'll be listed in the search result pages for your keywords and people will end up watching your youtube videos from search engines like Google. I don't know exactly if that means you will also rank better internally, like in Google's internal search results, but nevertheless building links can benefit a lot in the long run.
