TwitterFeed is shutting down their website

Yesterday i received email from Twitterfeed.com with announcement about closing their doors and shutting down their services on 31st October. On their website is also announcement:

Attention: Twitterfeed will be shutting its doors on Oct. 31st.
Please transition your account to another service before that date, we recommend Buffer or Dlvr.it. Thanks for all the feeds!

Well i used this website for long time, for Twitter marketing and it helped me a lot in my campaigns. It was also nice tool to post to Facebook fan pages. I really loved it, but it's time to say good bye twitterfeed and try to use other sources as they mention in their announcement.

Since this was successful journey for me i never even tried Buffer or dlvr.it, but now it's time to try them too. Do you have any feedback on these?

Anyway, just to let you all know, so you can re-organize your automated tweeting with some other tool, if you using it for digital marketing...

Hey Anwebservices. Wow, it is sad when something that works so great and adds such value closes their doors. Thanks for sharing about Twitterfeed shutting down.

I am currently using Mass Planner which is great. I use it for almost all my social media and it does almost everything for me. It costs $14.95 per month.

Previously I used Buffer and they really are good. I was on their paid plan for about 2 years which was also about $14.99 a month. I didn't leave them because I was unhappy, I just found Mass Planner which offers so much more so I moved over.

If you are not sure about Buffer I do highly recommend them. I have no experience with dlvr.it so I can't compare or give any recommendation there.

Thank you Lynne for nice advice. Not sure if anyone used Twibble, sounds like much cheaper option and their UI looking so professional and advanced, would like some feedback on it too if anyone used them so far

I am glad that you shared this because i never even heard of any of these websites. You have showed me another marketing tool that i can use to do automated tweets. Even though Twitter Feed is shutting down what kind of features did it have? Im sure we will see similar features in what they recommend to use. This tool interest me alot do you find that it brings traffic? This puts this on autopilot and i like that. Being an entrepreneur its hard to have enough time to do everything. This is a cool tool thank you again for sharing it to us. I apologize that your got o is shutting down but at least they showed you good alternatives.

Oh man this automated tool saved me a lot of the time and made me a lot of traffic and referrals. Tweeting automatically from RSS feeds and inserting hashtags was great idea. As far i know, Twitterfeed was the first one to inovate this technique and i was with them for long time. It was completely FREE service, while this new sites have very limited free accounts, but honestly paid accounts are probably better and much more advanced then old Twitterfeed TwitterFeed is shutting down their website
So if you set this automation correctly it can be your number one Twitter marketing MATE.

P.S.
Correctly, i meant don't tweet too much or too many tweets at once, because it can have bad effect as your followers could feel spammed...

I wonder what is the real reason behind twitterfeed closing? Maybe they have gotten into some kind of legal battle with twitter, do any of you know something related to this?
If this is the case any additional competitors that may want to take twitterfeed's place will have a hard time surviving and maybe the same faith in the end.
So, what is the number one alternative to twitterfeed at the moment that works just as well o maybe even better then twitterfeed?

What is the most common reason for a site to shut down? It is always profitability. When Yahoo was losing money, it decided to shut down although they had a good option of offering their site to potential buyers. Maybe Twitterfeed couldn’t find a prospective buyer so it decided to just shut down instead of continuing to lose money on the overhead of their operations.
