This festival looks amazing, how many people attend each year? Does this only take place in Northern India? The video is great and it shows many wonderful colors and lights. The streets look packed and everyone looks like they are having a good time. Fire works are always awesome, is this a religious event? I could watch the video but unfortunately i could not hear the sound. I never heard of ?Festival of Lights, i hope one day i could visit places like india. So many different cultures all around the world its amazing. I look forward to learning more about India and other places. Thanks for taking the time to share this video with everyone.

I've read a lot about Diwali recently, a client of mine needed a general shopping calendar for word wide use and Diwali actually came up as a very important holiday celebrated by a lot of people around the world.

Do you guys tend to offer jewelry gifts for Diwali? Because that was what my client planned to sell.

We do celebrate the festival of lights in my country too. This is one festival that I really enjoy. People usually decorate their houses with oil lamps and flashing lights on this day. It is so much fun walking in the streets at night and actually see so much light everywhere. It is indeed very beautiful.

We were in Singapore last year during this occasion. Little India was fully decorated with colorful flaglets, those were the small flags and adornments in the streets. I understand that Diwali is the equivalent of Christmas for the Indians. We could sense the festive atmosphere when we shopped in Mustapha, the largest mall in Singapore that is Indian based. I agree that the occasion brings out the beauty of the Indians.
