I am just wondering now about the latest Google update. Websites are being crawled faster now which is awesome but these are obviously sites that are already indexed.
Do you think Google will be indexing new sites faster after the latest Google Update?
Just a random thought I had. I purchased a new domain about a month ago and I only thought to check it now. It has been indexed but I have no idea when. My website has no content on it yet, just a “coming soon” notice.

I would assume that with the quicker crawl rates that you could be indexed much quicker. But again, it's all up to Google whether they want to index or not lol. It's kind of funny that you have a placeholder page and they indexed you already That leads me to believe they aren't putting a lot of websites under review and they will index you as long as you don't break any rules. By "rules" I mean as long as you aren't spamming and running a horrible website lol.
Since there might be quicker indexing rates, I wonder if companies who sell indexing services will still make any money. Websites like PingFarm and IndexKings will still be fine because they are free and don't rely on monthly payments. But there are other services that charge a minimum of $12 a month to index your links placed around the interwebs. I think some of these services charge like $12 for 50,000 links and even more per month for higher link counts, which is pretty crazy since they do the same thing as Pingfarm and IndexKings, which are free lol
Have you noticed a lot of bots and spiders crawling your pages more often during the day? That would be a clear cut answer to if Google is trying to index much quicker. The more times a spider crawls your pages, the more likely you'll get indexed. And if you're interlinking is done well, you will be able to get a lot of you pages indexed pretty quick
It would only make sense for Google to make an advancement like this because they always want to have the best information on their pages. And with instant, or almost instant, indexing they can be one step closer to getting the biggest news in front of their visitors in the shortest time possible. The indexing is really up to Google, but you can definitely tempt them in to crawl your pages pretty easily lol.
