With every service sold on Seocheckout you go into a sort of agreement that is signed when you purchase and submit your information to the seller. The seller agrees to do the work that was paid for and in return they get the funds upon completion.
But what about SEO companies who have clients paying $750, $3,000 or even $30,000 a month? Why do they have to sign a physical contract and you don't? Well that's pretty simple, it's because the SEO company doesn't want to lose the client within the first couple months before the SEO campaign begins to show a positive ROI. I've had plenty of clients sign up without signing a physical contract and they backed out after 30 to 60 days because they didn't think the work was doing what I said it would. Now as many of you know, it takes much longer than 30 to 60 days for an SEO campaign to start showing positive results in a competitive niche, but not everyone does.
Getting a client to sign a 1 year contract is pretty standard because a lot of new companies who want more sales to come from search engine traffic, don't actually know how it works. They think it's an instant ROI and the SEO work will show a huge increase in traffic as soon as it's started, which isn't true at all lol.
Getting your clients to sign the 1 year contract will ensure that they see the fruits of your labor and make them more than happy to sign on for a second year. You may have to deal with an angry client for the first couple months if they weren't exactly sure what they were signing up for, but it will be worth it in the long run. I actually have a few clients now who constantly send me referrals but in the beginning they weren't the happiest because they thought I was just trying to scam them. Now they're actually selling my services to their friends and colleagues before I'm even in the picture. The person they refer is already wanting to sign the 1 year contract and knows they may not see a positive ROI for a while
So go out there and get those contract signed!

I can imagine this causes a lot of difficulty for some SEO companies.
I also don't like the idea of signing a 1 year contract if I am not 100% sure of the company and what they can do for me and I am sure that this is a challenge for all SEO companies.
It is also a challenge for some of the sellers here too. Buyers purchase a one off package of links or services and then expect results and very often that is not something that is possible. Oh yes I would definitely go the contract route if I was running an SEO company and have it stated there in big bright red letters that there most likely won't be any noticeable results within the first few months!
