White hat SEO hacks. Are there such things?

I was reading an ebook yesterday and one of the chapters was titles "White hat SEO hacks" and I kind of laughed. I laughed because the person who wrote the ebook was trying to make it seem like there was a secret method anyone could use in order to be white hat and increase your rankings fairly quick White hat SEO hacks. Are there such things?

There are plenty of ways you can increase your rankings legitimately, and this ebook covered a lot of them. But why would he push it like it was something new and unique? Because he wanted to make sales and sound like an authority lmao.

Anyway, there are some pretty clever ways to get an increase in the SERPs for your keywords, but I wouldn't consider them "hacks" lol.

One great way to help increase your rankings, that I've recently fell in love with again, is posting on question and answer websites like yahoo answers and quora. These websites are seen as super high authority, so if you can get a link to stick on them you're going to see a slight boost in the rankings over time. And the beauty of these types of links is that you're answering someones question and they're likely to come back and click through the link to see what you were talking about. No one will know you're doing a shameless self promotion except you White hat SEO hacks. Are there such things? Well, unless you name your profile after your website because that shows up on each post you make lol.

You'll have to rank up your profiles in order to post links, but it's worth it. Go around the question and answer platforms and answer questions with high quality responses. In time you'll be ranked up enough so that you can start posting links and they will stick White hat SEO hacks. Are there such things?

Another great thing from this is that you will get risidual traffic from anyone who reads the question and then sees your post, then clicks through. If your post is well laid out it could even get stuck just under the question as the top response White hat SEO hacks. Are there such things?

If you ask me, there is no white hat SEO from Google's perspective, white hat SEO is virtually doing nothing! No keyword targeting, no on-page SEO, no backlinks building, pretty much nothing that can actually increase ranks from an SEO perspective.

Everything you may call white hat SEO is actually a grey hat, Google doesn't really approve it but doesn't disallow it straight away if you don't abuse it. From Google's perspective there is no better way of getting backlinks than a natural way, that means you are not allowed to pressure or make a deal with certain websites for obtaining` backlinks.

I would definitely say no, there isn't. Once you touch the website you are already falling in grey / black seo. Google doesn't penalize webmaster for using this techniques however he doesn't encourage them either.

I was providing Quora and Yahoo Answers quite regularly for a bunch of customers with great results but i would still consider it a trick since the users found you through another platform because you have posted the answers in their eyes and they didn't came on your blog naturally.

I am not sure that Yahoo Answers can be still provided but I will check.

LOL I was interested in this post from the title Razzy. Hacks makes me think of short cuts, cutting corners, being lazy and maybe even cheating to get something done... and that does not fit well with what I consider white hat seo, it makes me think of black hat seo.

I agree it does make you click through doesn't it?

I have actually just started getting involved with Quora and I am enjoying it. I have seen a few hits on my website from Quora already which is awesome.

I am just wondering though what you mean by getting a link to stick? I have added a few of my own links into answers.. like of course I would. Not on every answer I have given but on a few... How would these not stick? Would someone flag me as a blatant self promoter and then I get crucified like on Reddit... or how does it get "unstuck" there?

When it comes to ranking with search engines, I will always stick with the fresh contents. That’s being on the safe side because uploading fresh contents regularly is already proven to maintain, if not increase, the ranking of the website in the search results. Instead of experimenting on other methods for the SEO work, I would rather use the time-tested method of uploading high quality content that is directly related to the niche. At least that will surely bring good results as far as search engines are concerned.
