You can actually write about places you've been that you actually haven't visited. You can have people write up summaries about where they have been and then you but that content from them for a few bucks and post it as your own

You can make money from this by monitizing your website traffic with adsense or other related ad placements on your website. You could also sell travel books on places you've been which go over tips on where to visit while at a specific destination or where to go eat, people love this kind of stuff

You can place affiliate links to profit from any method of traveling the person on your website chooses. You won't make thousands per person, but if you get 100 sign ups a month then you'll make a nice full time and passive income

You'll need to be disciplined if you go with this type of business. You can't be out partying all the time, unless it's to cover a club or bar that you're adding into your review of the town/city you're visiting. You'll need to keep detailed notes on where you're at so that you don't miss anything when you eventually sit down at your computer and begin to hack away at the keyboard.

Set up your schedule ahead of time and stick with it. If you're not diligent with your schedule then you won't have much success since you'll be missing out on a lot of things that won't be fitting into your time frames since you decided to get lazy or not go somewhere because you wanted some "me time" while traveling lol.

I actually have a friend who worked for the United States Treasury department and she quit her job after her travel blog started making her more money than her 9 to 5 did. And if I remember correctly, she was making around 50k to 60k her first year Not bad, right
