Does using a wordcloud in website help you rank better?

I want to ask if using word cloud help in ranking as google love word clouds specially in pictures. Or, conversely does it actually hurt?

Keyword clouds are long dead in my opinion! And yes, having keyword clouds with tons of words can hurt your rankings and even penalize you. It's just a grotesque form of keyword stuffing, I'm amazed it still exists and is put into practice.

Just think about this way: How does keyword clouds actually help a real user? If your answer is:"it doesn't really help the user" - then you should definitely remove them because Google will think in the same way.

Also, I will need to see an actual example of how you are using word clouds in pictures? A print screen is sufficient.

Oh well I have never heard of wordcloud before? Mike I have some of these types of images in some of my posts though. Does that count?
