In the settings area https://www.seocheckout.com/settings, at the bottom of the page there is the option to ' Lock your account ' . I would like to learn more about it please. Did you ever do this? Should I do it? Thanks for your help and clarifications.

When you "lock your account", your profile can not be updated. It's an old security measure in place, but it's a good one. You should lock your account if you are using public internet, or at a shady friends house while accessing your account. To remove the lock you'll need to contact support as they are the only ones whom can unlock the account for you.
Suspending your account
It just makes it so you can't log in, and it doesn't show up. The account doesn't get deleted. It's quite similar to the ban feature, however the account isn't 'banned'. You're just prevented from accessing the account. If you suspended your account and want access again you can request to reactivate the account once again by the support team.
