Are you going with Mac os or windows?

You know this can honestly be called a battle that has been going on since ancient times, lol but really i want to really know what my fellow freelancers opinions are on the their computers. What are your preferences and why, are there specific facts that you have on why which one is better what do you guys think honestly or does it not even matter? Can you get your work done with either of the two that you have not even bothered to have a preference in the debate? I am really interested in what you guys have to say .

Till now my laptop is windows. The main reason I choose windows because have cheaper price and untill now i still don't have problem with windows and enjoy it.

For mac, i think they have good user interface than windows.. It's just my opinion...

i agree that is usually the difference between the two lol with windows you get the good prices going all the time it is always pocket friendly and that is great at least i cant complain i love bargains, and with mac os on the other hand you have better quality and that you cant beat i guess it all depends on what you are asking for as far as what you expect to get out the service you know , some times this can be a hard decision i know i like macs software and love windows prices so there goes that lol

I have a Mac at work and a laptop with windows as my main PC. Really hate the Mac. I just don't feel productive, everything is harder to do.
When I have a big project to complete at work I bring on my personal laptop.

yea you know i can understand your issue with the mac's there not exactly always user friendly i mean i find them pretty easy going when i use them but every one is different, i think it is safe to assume you did not buy the mac lol i do not think the mac is a bad choice in pc , but you know windows is always going to be a classic more people are familiar with it hands down so i understand your take and why you feel the way you do appreciate you taking the time out too comment

For normal people, Mac and iphone might be the ultimate gadgets they can own. Easy to use, have everything they need in a simple friendly interface. But, both are terrible when it comes to actually working on them and being productive. Maybe it's just me as a long time windows user, but I'm working on the Mac a year now and I still hate it like in the first days.

Hi jkeyz2 thanks for your question. I am not going to say what is better or best. I think for me such judgment so tuff. Because mac user always say mac is better and MS windows user should say windows ever best. There should lot of debate. I just going to tell my opinion from user level. As simply between two operating system, I feel mac too complicated for doing my freelancing work. Because my using elements is not working properly on mac OS. On the other hand, I am very used to for windows OS. And all of my freelance related elements are working fine to me for freelancing work.
So, at this moment I never think something instead Windows OS.

yea i am am starting to notice every one that is involved in free lance when it comes to work that they side with windows and it makes sense you know, hey aj i like how you tried not too take sides with it but to look at it from another point of view, and try to give each an equal run at the debate, you mention mac is too complicated and you know i can not say your wrong for the simple fact that from personal experience can tell you i have had more trouble learning mac then windows and thats fact.

I have Windows. It is not necessarily a preference it is just what I have always had and what I know. I don't want to try and figure out something new and I don't feel I have to.

That said I have heard that Mac is brilliant. I have nothing against Mac, I just have Windows.

there is nothing wrong with that , you go based off what you know in life, i know i do i think that is how everyone works to be honest, but i am also in to learning new things so i do not really get in to counting nothing out until after i try it you know, cause the mac is brilliant i know how to use it pretty good, but i always see people side more with windows it does not really come as any surprise though like i said before windows is basically a classic and when i say that i mean its more easy going then mac

I've heard many great things about Mac but I've never used it. Never. I don't even know how it looks like Are you going with Mac os or windows?
Windows is the only thing for me, always has been and probably always will be.. I can't say why though.. It just happened. I got a PC, I had windows, my friends had the same thing and so on..

So yeah. Windows!

I have never owned a mac computer. In fact I have not even used a mac computer. I have always used a windows computer. I continue to use windows computer not because I consider windows to be better than mac but because I cannot afford to have a mac computer. The money that I can buy a mac computer buys me a wondows computer, android phone and an android tab. I prefer to have more devices rather than one big expensive computer.

I have used Mac once in a while for testing purposes and I believe what they say that Mac has a hardwired operating system that makes it fast unlike the Windows that runs on the hard disk. However, the cost of the Mac is unreasonable for me. Besides, my issue with the Mac is the detailed operation that I use in Windows like the checking of what programs are running and the equivalent of MS Config.

Mac for everyday stuff. It just works. Windows is great for someone who is techy but doesn’t want to deal with Linux.
