Graphic Design market is saturated?

Hey, I'm Nextant.
I've been browsing around and looking at other people's services and I went to graphic design & logos, the market is completely saturated. There is just so many people that it is just so hard to get a first sale on your particular service.
I've tried bumping, that does nothing. I've made tons of examples on my website so people can see what quality they will get but it just doesn't work.

This is why I rely on WTB's in order to get sales. These buyers are just so picky, what am I supposed to do so I can appeal to them? And I'm not dropping my price to undersell myself. Because these actually do take time to create.

I've been thinking about also going on Fiverr. Fiverr is great because I can do a lot more with my services and they make it pretty fair between sellers.

I don't know what to do, but WTB's are starting to get annoying having to search for the buyers. But it's not about the money, it's about making people happy and I just can't do it here if I don't get a chance on my services.

your best bet for a saturated market is too branch your product out and reach out to people in other ways you know social networks could be a start just do not let you self get discouraged cause that does not benefit you in any way shape or form, as you say you have links up you obviously know the value of your work , so let the work speak for it self and look in to getting your self out there mabye join some groups or pages that your work would catch the attention of people interested and move from there .

and definitely do not under sell yourself listen you know what your product is worth and what your worth so keep on with the prices exactly where they are at especially if thats what you were already charging other people you dont drop price just too appeal to other clients nope not at all , what you do is up your marketing and branching out skills learn how to really sell yourself see i have learned that people some times dont pay for the product they pay for you, as you say there are many people doing the same thing but people still find the time to pick and choose who does the service, understand what im saying

Seems like personal touch is everything and if you get a buyer and really impress them they won't go to the x3, they will go with you because you've built a relationship?

Yes I feel that once a buyer has been completely satisfied with your service, and has had his expectations exceeded he will most probably order from you whenever he needs the service again. So based on this, assuming you got some sales, try to target those buyers from time to time. For example let them know that you are offering a discount for a limited period, or introduced a new service, and ask them politely if they could take the time to write a recommendation for you if they showed that they were really happy with the service you offered them. Keep in touch with them without being too pushy.

Yeah there's always a fine line between being pushy

Only problem is with services they only need once, but hopefully they will need other things.
This is why I am going on other SEO websites because some just have more traffic and it's a whole different market.

Yes I agree that could be a good tactic considering it is a bit difficult to get repeat sales in this line of business, but make sure you are here daily so as to target any new members. Keep checking WTBs too.

Yeah, it seems like Seocheckout is good for social media likes, traffic, and google ranking.
But I will always check every day, especially WTB's.

Hi Nextant yes for sure. I agree with this totally. It is hard as a level 1 seller I am sure.

I am sure you can find success here, but it won't be overnight and it will take hard work.

I have looked at your profile and I think you are on the right track. Yes I have to admit the first thing that I look at when I go to someone's profile is the level and you are Level 1 so not great BUT I don't just leave if you are a level 1 so all is not lost.

Here are some things I think can help with success... add a real profile picture. Yes I think this will make a massive difference. I like to know who I am dealing with.

Your profile message is better than most I have seen here, but can still be improved which will help more.

How about saying "I specialize in *****" instead of "I know a lot about"

I think tweaking your profile in lots of little ways will make a huge difference Graphic Design market is saturated?

You have a lot going for you in that you have no thumbs down and you have 4 thumbs up. You have a recommendation and you have 100% seller rating. So yes I agree maybe you haven't done a lot of sales, but what you have done you've done right.

Regarding your services maybe try adding in some specials to draw some attention to what you do. Do some buy this and get that free specials maybe?

Chat more here in the community discussions and maybe you will get more followers which is also something I look at.

And yes once you have made a customer happy they will come back and recommend you to others. It will take some time to build up but I am sure you will get there.

Thanks for the help. I should be getting level two within the week so that won't be an issue. I will tweak my bio, and add a real profile picture. Graphic Design market is saturated?

If you offer a better service than the rest, people will buy.

I know I've tried cheaper banner designers, logo makers, image creators, etc. but I always seem to be going back to a few of my go to designers because they've never let me down. The only thing is that logo, banner and image design is not the same as article writing because with images people only need a few per website and they're good for years. With article writing, people need loads of content in order to publish it on their websites and on third party platforms for SEO purposes.

If you haven't already, try branching your services out to different types of designs. If you can do web design, you can have a service up for that and at the bottom of the description you can link to your image design service. Do this with a bunch of different services and interlink them all. This will keep the traffic on your services and increase your conversions a great deal. Now you'll get a lot of people that won't click through to your other services, but if you have the option there, people will click through to check it out every once in a while. Let's say you get 1,000 views on your service, I'm sure at least 100 will click through to your other services if you interlink them Graphic Design market is saturated? It's a pretty simple trick, but I've seen plenty of people do it and I've been one of the people to click through. I may not buy right away, but I do "add to favorites" so I can come back later Graphic Design market is saturated?

I can do web design, but I am limited to five services. I will be getting level 2 soon and be branching out. I am already doing video editing and branching out on that with white board animation.
I do this with my website also, plug myself in for my other services but I'm not even close to 10,000. There's not enough traffic?

practice makes for perfect man that fact that you already have the ball rolling on a couple different outlets shows your a step ahead of the game, now what you want to do is find a bunch of small individual goals for each one of the individual services you manage to provide and really put time and effort in to perfecting that craft rather then just getting better as you go along take the extra step create projects for your self and complete them practice out until it all becomes second nature, then you be doing great quality stuff in no time , it can maximize your business,

Good point, really should do this. I do this a lot but I really should focus down and get better than everyone, then there is no competition.
Like white board animation videos, I can make for services for sellers. Going for sellers could proably help too.

I agree with Razzy. The demand for images and designs can be a bit limited. So you need to:
  1. try to come up with other innovative services. So, try checking the market for loopholes and based on your skills try to imagine a different service you could offer. Maybe you could offer some sore of package.
  2. and always make sure the service you offer is not just good, but exceptional.

Getting the first few sales may be difficult. It may take time to build reputation but it is normal. So be patient, and do not give up on WTBs.

WTB's are great but you're searching for buyers which is time consuming

i do not believe it is that limited to be honest any market can feel over whelmed and saturated at one point or another but if his work shows quality at a good price and be markets himself well he definitely can climb the ladder of competition and get to where he needs to be it really is all about how he apply himself and how well he can do what he can do and that goes with any thing with enough hard work you can any thing possible i am a strong believer in that , so i say go head and continue

i agree offering a better service ten out of ten times wins the battle and race with other people trying to get sales going amongst the competition you have you know and that goes back to what i said about customer service and just to really make sure you have clients taken care of, another thing is make sure you perfect your craft , it is always good to be really aware of what your doing you dont want to take fresh skills into a battle with no experience your going to loose that fight to some one with experience ten out of ten times,

Hi Nextant,

I was looking at your services which are nice. Here is a suggestion/tip: Maybe, try changing the titles, text and keywords for you service, frequently. You'll get more views. Why you may ask?

Answer: You'll receive a couple nice benefits:
What happens is after you change your service and then save it, your service goes back into the affiliate RSS feeds and your service gets seen more people, social media, affiliate stores, websites and more. I would suggest to do a bi-weekly title and text change. I use RSS feed for affiliate marketing all the time especially for social media and my affiliate stores. Since I am in front of the RSS feed every day I see members who are taking advantage of this nifty method.

Add Keyword TAGS:
Adding or using a more common search keyword or term can get you a lot more views. People have a tendency to type certain search terms in the search box. If you are using these terms properly your service could be seen by many more people. Do some testing and find what works.

One of Your Current Services:
White Board Animation Video in 1080p HD

Example 1 - New Title 1:
Launch Your New Business with a White Board Animation Video in 1080p HD
You get a nice keyword (business) in the title. (add the keywords as tags)

Example 2 - New Title 2:
Boost Your YouTube Channel with a Fresh White Board Animation Video in 1080p HD
You'll also now show up for YouTube- Video - & Channel (add the keywords as tags)

I hope this helps you! Do some testing and review your text! Send me a PM I have another suggestion that you should implement right away.

Long ago when I was listing my own graphic design services, I also had an issue with getting buyers to buy graphics. I had similar services as you do. I actually stopped selling graphic design services, and started to sell primarily PHP script services, or PHP programming services. I found that I could make more money, and that it would be in more demand.

It's very sad that the graphic design market is down, it seems people like to create their own graphics these days, and it's increasingly easier due to many free applications one could use. So yes, I do feel your pain. Is there any other skills you have other than graphic designing?

Video editing, which I make a lot of money and it is what im selling mainly now. There is no limit to how much you can make but it does take some time to do.

Here is a tip that nobody told me when I first started freelancing. Look at what everybody is doing, what kind of services and what kind of language they are using, and do the exact opposite. As you said the market is saturated, but only because sellers are copying one another to death. You need to stand out and for this, you need to offer something different in different packages. Hope I've given you a good starting idea.
Good luck mate!
