My question is what kind of traffic am i looking for when it comes down to running a successful blog, also any methods or tips i could use to possibly help improve blog activity. I want to know the best ways to combine your freelance with blogging and turn it into something profitable or a tool to assist money. Just a thought.

The key to be a good blogger and make money out of it, is to make your blog as successful as can be. To do this you need a lot of followers, which would in turn help you to monetize your blog more easily and effectively. So, you need to make sure that you write posts that are really engaging. You need to do this regularly and quite often so as to keep your followers interested to keep following you. You also need to promote it, so use social media platforms to gain more followers and to increase the shares of your blog posts. In time this will enable you to monetize your blog.

Blogging actually helps your freelancing career. You can use your blog to showcase your portfolio and advertise your service. People might even check your blog and hire you. Let me examplify. You do we designing, you advertise your service on your blog. People looking for web designer lands on your blog, checks your portfolio and hires you. It is very common for freelancers not to have any works sometimes, in such situations you can manage and run your blog

I think initial clients are where you may struggle. And freelancing does not lead to easy actions. You can find that making consistent money leads to more of issues. And that's why many people do the freelancing on the side. It may not be that easy. So you have to focus on client acquiring part on daily basis. That's how many people are working on things there. It takes time but it is definitely doable for sure.

Freelancing is doing work in the internet to earn money. Blogging can also earn you money especially if you become a popular blogger. If you can give blogging a part of your daily time, it may come to be that blogging will earn you more than freelancing. Of course, your blog should have a lot of regular readers and you can do that if your blog is interesting. I used to be a co-blogger and I’d say that blogging is an enjoyable work if the subject or niche is your passion.

Join blogging and online writing communities. (Examples: Virily and HUBPages.) Be sure to keep backup copies of your content because many of these sites are here one day and gone the next. But your presence at the sites that survive will lend itself to building your online reputation, mainly because the sites have a good reputation. If you can publish guest posts that would be good too. Your content at these sites, your guest posts, and content at your own blogs are like a resume. It shows your writing skill and style. Others looking for freelance writers may like what they see and approach you with an offer. There are also sites like ProBlogger where you can find opportunities. Hope what I've said is of help.
