I'm interested to know what keyword tools everyone here recommends? What keyword research tool do you think is the best one available?
I currently use Jaaxy which works really well for me and it is a good price for $29 a month.
I don't use Google Keyword Planner simply because I struggled with it and I have also heard that it does not give a true reflection of organic searches, it is more for paid Adword campaigns... is this correct?

I've had a good amount of success doing it this way, but I do agree that the numbers are a bit inflated. Their "Estimated Traffic" is garbage but at least it gives me an idea of what keywords are better than others. And sometimes they're even right on a keyword here and there and I'll make a good ROI
I've never heard of Jaaxy, but I'm checking it out now
What does Jaaxy offer that others don't? I see a few standard features on there that I like, but most keyword checkers/planners have those. I understand that a paid keyword tool is much more useful because they use some of your money to invest into proxies, which are always nice to use when searching But what sets Jaaxy apart from the rest?
I'm in need of a good keyword tool, paid or free, in order to research niches I want to get in to. Just jumping into a niche can be heartbreaking because a lot of the keywords can be extremely difficult to rank for. And if you want to make money from the website within a month, you'll want to pick a niche that is easy to rank in. I use an actual adwords campaign, not just the planner. I feel that the planner is slightly different than when you set up a campaign and add keywords to it. I won't run the campaign, because who wants to run a PPC campaign when they're just doing keyword research lol :D I've had a good amount of success doing it this way, but I do agree that the numbers are a bit inflated.
