I do use a good few services here at Seocheckout to give some of my very important content a boost... but when I am interested in is how can I build some quality backlinks on my own.
Is the best way to do this via blog comments? Is there a safe software to use or will that be dangerous for someone like me that is not experienced?
Should I leave this side of things to the experts here?
This is something that makes me edgy because I always scared if I buy a dodgy service by mistake my websites could be penalized.
Almost all the services claim to be done manually and to be Google safe... I just can't see that being true, especially with all the really cheap bulk backlinks!

Guest blogging is also a great way to build links on other websites, you just have to become an authority first or show that you're knowledgeable enough to not shit the bed on someone elses website At the beginning of a websites life you'll always want to do the manual linking yourself to avoid any penalties that could end you before you start to gain any momentum. I finally have a guy I can trust to build the links for me so that I can focus on other aspects like the marketing and adding content to my subpages. He will place links all over the web but he uses my template in order to find them and place them. I don't allow him to just use an auto approved list and run it through scrape box because I can kill my own website like that if I want to lol :D I ask him to look up niche relevant blogs and websites and go become a member of the community. after he's done around 50 or so posts that are extremely informative, I tell him to contact the webmaster or owner to see if he can get a signature link if it's not already available. I'll also have him ask if they website or blog offers any type of advertising so that we can get a banner ad up on the site. Pushing a banner ad through adwords or buysellads is pretty simple now but it serves no SEO benefits. This is why I'll have my guy ask if we can do a dofollow banner ad on their website for a charge because we'll get the credit for the link and it won't be seen as a paid ad ;) Guest blogging is also a great way to build links on other websites, you just have to become an authority first or show that you're knowledgeable enough to not shit the bed on someone elses website :D
