The main struggle is when people don't have a good offer that is a spur of the moment decision that doesn't put a lot of risk on the buyer. Like I said, my service are at least $750 so if you can push a $2.99 app they will be more willing to buy it since they use their phones for what the app was intended for, hopefully
I've also heard of some social media marketers hit it big with list building while targeting mobile users. This is because all the person on the phone has to do is enter their name and email in order to get the information you said you'd send them. This works great because people can add their personal info and it will get sent to their email so they can read it when they get home.
Spur of the moment decision are what you need to capitalize on in order to be more successful when targeting mobile traffic. Think of a grocery store, you go to check out and there's all this gum and candy sitting there staring at you while you wait to load your items onto the counter or converyer belt. A lot of people don't need these things, but they buy them anyways because they're there I've never had fun advertising on mobile devices. I would assume pushing a play store download link would be the best bet when running an advertising campaign targeting mobile users since an app was made for phones. I've never had much luck because I have expensive services and no one wants to make a business decision that would risk $500+ while they're playing clash of clans or sitting on the toilet trying to not stare at the walls :D The main struggle is when people don't have a good offer that is a spur of the moment decision that doesn't put a lot of risk on the buyer.
