Last night I accidently found out about Firefox Hello. Which apparently lets you browse a web page with a friend at the same time as them. It's sort of like screen sharing. You click the Hello icon and a link is created. You then give people (your friends) this link and then you can both view that page at the same time. But I don't get it! Why not just give them the URL to the page and then they can visit it for them self anyway!?
According to Firefox it's
Quick, easy and ready to go
One click to send your friend an invitation.
No logins, passwords or accounts required.
Nothing extra to download — all you need is Firefox!
Made for sharing the Web
Collaborate and make decisions in real time.
Share what you’re looking at, safely and securely.
Invite friends, even if they don’t use Firefox.

It is the first I have heard about it. And no I can't see the point really? Is it not the same as screen sharing? You know like you can let people see your screen on Google Hangouts for example? But the I suppose it is only for the internet so it would not be the same. It is the first I have heard about it. And no I can't see the point really?
