Is it possible for a seller to sell their own bumps to other service providers?

I have many bumps, and I have just learnt that I reached the maximum I can have. At the moment it is not a good idea for me to bump my services much as I have many orders to handle and a limited time. So I would like to ask if it is possible for a seller to sell bumps to others? Is it against the rules?

I do not know any details and that is why I started this discussion in the hope that someone from admin can clarify whether this is possible and if it is permissible.

Hi EliteWriter this time to thinking about this type of offer or service. Is it possible to sale bump to other? And as per as I know we can bump service for another one. And do not need to access his/her account. And I have maximum amount of free bump still available on my account. Though I am not using each day and I mostly use paid bump for my services. If possible to sale to other, I will try to consider. But I am not sure regarding this issue. And I tried to read from all Seocheckout rules about this issue but I do not find anything against this. Therefore I think you can sale or use free bump for other service. Though, Seocheckout admin will better understand and they can clearly here.

I actually sold a bump service before and later removed it, here's why:

When bumping a service, other than your own, it's hard to actually have proof that you were the one that actually bumped the service. Another thing is, is that when I sold the service, you could only bump a service once per day, and if that service was already bumped on that day, you wouldn't be able to bump it.

The official marketplace account "ionicware" sells paid bumps as low as $5 for 5 bumps which include email feature, highlight and it automatically bumps it every 12 hours. Selling a bump service using free bumps doesn't allow you to offer those benefits. Why would someone buy a bump service from a seller, when they can just order from the official marketplace account and get 3 additional benefits that they couldn't receive from a normal marketplace seller.

I usually earn between 3 and 5 free bumps per day. I have more than 210 free bumps right now and if I where to offer people bumps, I would probably do something like this:
  • 2 bumps for $3
  • 5 bumps for $4

That way I would be able to compete with ionicware's official bump services even though I don't provide the extra benefits they include in theirs, I would still deliver the actual bumps for a decent price. When it comes to the actual selling and delivery of this, I would do something like this:
  • Bump the service and take screenshots before and after it's bumped.

I would also make sure that my clients have not bumped their services recently so I can bump them immediately.

However, I do understand your point and I believe it would be rather hard to sell bumps.. Perhaps I'll do it just for the fun of it.. Is it possible for a seller to sell their own bumps to other service providers?

Best Regards,

I would really like to give it a try as they have accumulated too much and it is as if they are there for nothing. It seems that it is not against the rules, and so I am truly interested to do it now.

But I still cannot understand how I can bump someone else's service. I tried to click on other people's services to see if there is somewhere to click but did not notice anything. What would I have to do?

Here's how to bump another seller's services:
  1. Go to the seller's profile, or the service you want to bump
  2. Copy the service ID # that is in the link, you should know how to get a service's ID # (we can not post service links here) if you are having trouble finding this ID # go to the service page and copy the numbers that are in the URL usually AFTER the category.
  3. Then go to the bump page (you can use your own service) and remove your service's ID with the service ID # you want to bump.

You can bump another seller's service, you just have to do the trick mentioned above.

Thank you so much for explaining the process to me. I think I will give it a try when I have some time to devote to it as whenever I try something new I want to feel at ease with it and not be like I am now - crazy with many orders! However I will take into account what you said regarding the additional benefits offered by the official service for selling bumps, and as I cannot offer those I will have to set a very competitive price. But I have nothing to lose after all. Thanks again I appreciate your help!
