    How do I identify the owner of a domain name?

    Let's say that you find a website that is violating your copyright or has scraped your content. How can you identify the owner so that you can send them a request to remove the offending content?

    If you look into WHOIS you can easily find the owner of the domain including the registrant's email ID. If you want to make a complaint because he is violating your copyrights you can file a DMCA or write to the host about the website that violates your copyright. You can also ask the publisher to take down the content.
