Could a Youtube ban ever be a good thing?

Maybe a ban is a good thing for some Youtube users as it causes them to take stock of what they've been doing wrong and try to start fresh. It might be a good thing, assuming they are willing to learn and move on. What do you think?

Getting completely banned from Youtube would be a career ending injury for many marketers. Although if you are keeping copies of your videos you could simply upload those again and start over. As for it being a good thing, I don't really see how as a ban would take the momentum off your Youtube career and require you to start over.

Assuming you can recognize where you went wrong and resolve never again to make those mistakes, then it would be good as you won't make those mistakes with your next channel.

Most people who are banned from Youtube are banned for justifiable causes and they won't actually learn a lesson from the ban but will simply start another Youtube channel and break all the same rules again. So, all a ban does is slow them down.

Bans are just part of the business, if you are in Youtube for promotion, rather than artistry. Just take it on the chin and move on.
