Can you actually market on Instagram?

The primary purpose of Instagram is to share photos and videos with others. But, is there really a way to share links or other marketing material that won't get flagged as spam?

You can't add a link to images and videos you post on Instagram, but you can certainly add a link to your Instagram profile.In addition to this, you can insert links into the Caption box which is valid IF these photos and videos are shared on your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr.

You can create a hashtag for your company and market through that.
Subtle marketing should be fine and not get flagged as spam.

So long as you are not linking to an affiliate site or using an affiliate link, t hen you will be fine. The best way to market on Instagram is to brand your images with your site link, so that others will know what site they came from.

I believe that Instagram is a sure way to market those goods and services you're selling using the photos and videos that showcase them. I mean it is possible to market them by using the photo to reach your target audience and making them believe in your goals of bringing solutions to them with the sale of such products.

I didn’t know that you cannot add a link to the Instagram post. All the while, I thought that you can use your Instagram account for promoting your business. When I had read several discussions about Instagram influencers, I created an Instagram account to test if I have the potential to be one. But I did not pursue posting there because it looks like a waste of time for me. But anyway, my plan was to use my Instagram account for promoting my interest in the future.
