What if you had to prove a real life connection to Facebook friends?

What if Facebook required you to provide proof or documentation that you knew your Facebook friends in real life? Would you be able to do that?

Chances are, you only know a small fraction of the people on your friend list, so it would be impossible to prove that you know these people in real life.

And, what type of proof would Facebook require for that? The only type of proof which would suffice is a photo where you are appearing with the other person.

Facebook is not just for the friends that you have met in real life but also about meeting new people to be friends with online. Otherwise, why would they have Facebook groups for friendship? So I don't understand why Facebook would make a big deal about your having friends you don't know in real life.

I'm sure Facebook does not employ enough workers to manually review all the documentation and photographs that would be submitted by the one billion plus users.

As I had posted in another thread, my Facebook account ismainly for connecting to my circle particularly to those friends and relatives
who are residing abroad or in faraway provinces. Included are my colleagues,
past and present, and also my classmates in high school and college. I don’t
remember having a friend in Facebook of a person that I don’t really know. So
that means this issue is no problem with me for I personally know 99% of my
Facebook friends.

If I can remember correctly there are several options to verify your Facebook identify and one of those is to identify the names of your Facebook friends. The other one is they would ask you for proof of life like a selfie of you holding a newspaper or a board which has your name on it. Sometimes they also require you to upload certain personal documents to prove your identity.
