How much time do you spend on Facebook every day?

I try to spend less than an fifteen minutes daily on Facebook for social reasons and at least 3 hours managing my page, in between my other work. How much time do you devote to Facebook daily for work or social reasons?

Except for work related reasons, I'm trying to spend less time on Facebook as it seems to just be a waste of time socially.

It is not important how much time you spend on facebook. The most important thing is what do you do on facebook! I mean if use it for chit-chat then it would be waste of time.

yes every day. when i start my pc i firstly go facebook and see there all notifications.

So basically you just leave the page up all day long but are not actually on the page looking for that long.

One to two hours. I am not constantly looking over the page, but will check it every 10 minutes or so.

Probably 2-3 hours a day but most of my Facebook Fan page. Posts and upkeep is done remotely via a social network management system.

I sign in to my Facebook account six days a week. (I take Sundays off.) Although I am signed in, I am working on my other home business projects. I recently started using an alert system to shows me when someone is discussing something I was interested. I devote at least an hour or two going through my Facebook memories. A lot of my old blog posts and articles have broken links and some need updating. When I fix them, I put them back into the current post stream (I re-share them) because much of my content is not time-sensitive. Even though it was published years back, it's still a topic of interest. I also put them back into the post stream because my social network has grown over the years and my new friends might want to read my old posts.

I agree that Facebook is good for socializing but I don’tagree that you spend so much time in it. I know some friends who spends almost half their waking hours in Facebook. I mainly use Facebook to connect with my circle particularly to those who are residing abroad. One post a day is enough to let them know that I am okay. And I also check their posts. That’s around 30 minutes a day that I reserve for Facebook. However, I don’t post in Facebook every day although I make it a point to check my account at least every other day.
